So yesterday, I wanted to see how long it would take me to Assassinate that elite below the Cliff on POA with all Skulls, on Legendary. On my first attempt I managed to assassinate him. I was completely surprised, since I had Blind on and I had no idea where I was aiming. You could say it was ... Blind luck. (I'm so sorry for that, you proceed and beat the shit out of me.) I have a recording of it on my file share http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/haloreach/Tuskin38/fileshare#!/?section=Film&MapId=&GameMode=0&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&tags=&startIndex=0
quickscoping irl i wish, he'd at least be dead by now.
The sheer level of idiocy in society is brought out rather effectively by video games. I mean, there's a kid in my school that was ranting about how he was going to join the military so they could put a sniper in his hands and he could run around getting headshots. I don't think he understands how sniper rifles work IRL. Now, on a note that is about Halo: The Bestiarum from the H3 Legendary edition is up. At least, I think that's the on-disc version. It's all text, but it's an interesting read nonetheless.
what how
Its not too much of a stretch, really. My friend claims Planetside 2 is a Halo ripoff.
Its not too much of a stretch, really. My friend claims Planetside 2 is a Halo ripoff.
Well it is.
Well it is.
Can't tell if you are just dumb, or are making an attempt at trolling. Perhaps it's both?
Okay, well, aside from that remarkable display of what-the-fuck-I-don't-know, what do you guys think is with the "Prometheans"? They're not remotely how I pictured a Forerunner, even a 'mutated' one of the actual sect, as described in the books. They seem sorta like cyborgs. Tbh, I get a Reaper vibe from them.
I keep getting confused between the prometheans and the precursors, name wise i mean.
Well it is.
the only thing PS2 is ripping off in even the slightest is BF3, and not anything else ever.
the only thing PS2 is ripping off in even the slightest is BF3, and not anything else ever.
I could see were you get the battlefield vibe from it but that's one of the main things about it that excites me. It looks very amazingly fun to play.
Well it is.
We talked about this dude.

I'd assume that means that they're some sort of forerunner elite/spec ops/badass soldier or something. It makes sense given the forerunner war against the flood. Fighting an enemy that can infect your soldiers and turn them against you? Make a robot army.
I try to avoid morons like that but when I read such things I rage on them. Just gonna repost what I said in response to him in case someone here shares his opinion.
ok bro i think we get it "halo four does not suck" we know :)))
I'm excited to see more. Fighting them looks like it'll be interesting, maybe we finally have to come up with new strategies for the first time in a while.

Make a robot army.
We know who and what the Prometheans are (a sect of Forerunner warrior caste soldiers that handled the command aspects of Forerunner warfare, and dealt with the more dangerous situations), but their appearance in game is completely different than how they were portrayed in the books. They don't look in the least like Forerunners, at least, not how it was implied. Thing is, as far as we know, all the Forerunners are dead. Very, very dead. Your last point makes sense, though. [editline]30th June 2012[/editline]
Perhaps they're a form of those warrior mechs in Cryptum, the consciousness of a dead forerunner implanted into a suit of armor.
Especially combined with this.
Jumpin on Reach, feel free to join up with me.
this has probably been answered before but is the flood going to be making an appearance in halo 4
Oh man, I'll do some Reaching myself now, haven't played it in months. I won't join in on matchmaking because I suck and I don't have a mic, but if we can gather a few more people who want to do some custom game silliness, I'm in.
I won't join in on matchmaking because I suck and I don't have a mic, but if we can gather a few more people who want to do some custom game silliness, I'm in.
Who cares if you suck or don't have a mic? Halo is all about fun. You are more than welcome to join me any time. [editline]30th June 2012[/editline]
this has probably been answered before but is the flood going to be making an appearance in halo 4
Well it's speculated that the flood has been completely destroyed (atleast the ones we know of.) As far as them being in Halo 4, I want to say 100% no. But that doesn't mean they won't ever return. Who knows what other flood forces are out there from other parts of the universe, or even the ones we fought in 3, all it takes is one microscopic spore to survive.
this has probably been answered before but is the flood going to be making an appearance in halo 4
Frankie said we wouldn't be fighting flood, so it might be that a few pop up where we don't fight them. Maybe at the end of the game for a cliffhanger into Halo 5 or something, but they won't play a big role, if they'd even return at all.
Who cares if you suck or don't have a mic? Halo is all about fun. You are more than welcome to join me any time.
I guess so. I have to take a minute to get used to this again though, I haven't played a single game after 343 took over the reins. I have no idea what these new playlists, title updates and such are :v: [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] I really like halo.xbox.com's layout

I think thats destroyed but. Also it was only one collection of them we destroyed, we dont know how far they have spread.

We destroyed Installation 04 (Twice lul USNC OVERKILL) Installation 05 (Delta Halo) Deactivated, presumably in USNC control. We destroyed the Arc (the only place where all the Halo Arrays could be remote activated) That means there are 5 other Halo's out there, which could indeed indicate the possibility of more flood in Halo's future.
Plus, there was that possible Halo ring that we saw on the leak of Halo 4's Menu.
I think that was installation 07. ;) I'm not sure though, my knowledge of the campaign and basics of the plot are limited.
I made Reach again in Space engine. The landscape obviously isn't Correct, but I made it as close as I can. [t]http://spaceengine.ucoz.ru/_fr/6/2846806.jpg[/t]
I'm so glad they have another Halo. After all, the game is called Halo. I remember stopping in the middle of CE, just to stare at the magnificent skybox with the halo ring arcing through the sky.
