BF2 is better.
Played through WaW campaign twice, played it just for Nazi Zombies for a month or so, now It's uninstalled with no intention of reinstalling any time soon.

Gameplay actually isnt' similar at all, i played both and BF2 had a lot more things to do, the maps in BC2 are a lot more linear.

BF2, as it has mods and more people playing.
get bf2. goddamn Project reality ( a mod for bf2 ) is like a standalone game. i would pay 50 dollars for it

BF2 is one of the best BF if not the best. Just find a good server, some friends or a team and go "holy shit is it what is teamplay like" ?
You can't go wrong with BF2
And BFBC2 isn't as good as BF2. Too much open land for snipers and such. Still a good game though.

My experience of BF2 involves being spawn camped by jets, horribly broken hit registration, drop shotting, being team killed for vehicles and nobody ever working together.
As for Hit Registration, it's [b]Battlefield[/b]. This will never ever be solved.

Battlefield 2 is fairly cheap. Really for the deluxe version you are paying for Special Forces but from what I heard it's rarely played anymore. It's $10 for the regular plus the free patches that add the booster packs. I mean you must be seriously low on cash to not be able to by Battlefield 2 and WaW.
