The problem is you've gotta keep moving to the intel so theirs really no point in setting up trenchlines. Maybe if it had more of a sector/grid control system it could bring in some trench warfare.

We almost did it before the server crashed, too.[/QUOTE] i remember the fervent nationalism, too. even got in a rap battle. green4lyfe. but now i just don't feel it. i think it's because the community went to shit as the game got more popular. i wish the dev did focus more on the slow, nerve-wrecking game play than the fast-paced style he went with.

that machine gun probably will force you back into trenchlines, you can't win of that without tactics.

Wow, I forgot how amazingly fun this game is. The Australian servers are actually populated for once, awesome. Although that SMG really needs a nerf in how well it can destroy blocks.

I always check back on this game and the thread, hoping something's changed positively, that people are starting to work together again. Like when I first started playing. I'm always left disappointed, and when I try to play I quit with a bad taste in my mouth. I wish someone would make a server that encouraged teamwork.

I wish someone would make a CLAN/GROUP for teamwork based Ace of Spades gameplay.

That'd be just as awesome.

Anyone mind if I create a new thread for the game? The site got a large facelift today, and it was announced that the game will be on Steam soon. This thread is dead without a functioning op, I have a guide pic I made a little while ago, and can prepare a thread banner.

As far as I know a few of the devs that worked with ben are still with the game. The new "Community Manager" appears to be responding to what people want. Ben is still MIA though.

No other info, but I have faith that they dropped it in favor of something good.
