So, excuse me that I am late and all but I have been away for a few days and now that I'm back I noticed that this game is out. I have Arma 2 myself and it is all nice and dandy but the horrible engine really kills it for me. Would be great to have a more streamlied option too. So what do you guys think of this game?

It's good, i've already played more hours on this game then red faction-geurilla As of now i would give it a 7.5/10 But if you expect the same gameplay as the old operation flashpoint i would get ARMA instead, this one is a little bit more arcadey.

This or red faction guerrilla? I can't decide.

This game is shit. I played on hardcore and its the same as every other fucking FPS, you shoot this guy 3 times in the neck and chest and he doesn't fucking die.

That marketing wore off as it approached release. And it wasn't at realism status. It was marketing for sandbox gameplay, do whatever the fuck you want.

Anyone got the soundtrack, or even the main menu music to this game? I like it. I know it's called throat singing, or something. This is particular I like though.

If a guy falls backwards from being shot it was probably a reflex thing from being shot in the first place. I bought it, and It's pretty good, one of the better console purchases I've made. It's realistic, but not really a full blown simulator. Think ghost recon 1; it "feels" a lot like that to me. Obviously it is much larger scale, though.

The game plays like a slightly more realistic Battlefield. It's a nice shooter but not an Operation Flashpoint game. Also, anyone know how to skip the annoying intro movies? I tried renaming the bik files but then the game just won't start.

In the third mission where you defend the against the counter-attack, I don't know what happened but after I reloaded a checkpoint I only have 1 squad mate now... I've heard the game is pretty bad, and is extremely insecure. Is the developer retarded for making such an obvious mistake? Yeah, quite mixed from players. Mostly negative, though. I'll be waiting for the demo release.
