For Lothars you can activate it after you start channeling, for Shadow Amulet you need to start channeling during the fade time.
no, you just activate after you start channelling either way, i tested it today

because people used to simply farm bots by going into a match, leaving it, going into others, etc, and it would still give them items
also discourages people from leaving games in general

I don't think they break tp's. There was a guide about using an invisi rune to tp away.

I don't quite see the issue.
Blink is neccesary, especially against ursa and snipes if he initiates. There is not that much magic damage, except for earth shock and shrapnel/assassinate later on. He won't melee Ursa as Ursa wins there, and he is unlikely to melee Sniper with Ursa around and no reliable disable.
Silencer also covers a lot of manaburning if he got Curse of the Silent, so manaburn won't do much and Mana Void is also rather weak early on when there are no bigger mana pools around.
