No dude, courier can pick up candies. So, what they do is that they put all of their candies on the courier instead of the basket and then deposit them in the last min, winning the game.

People will always find ways to make something less fun. Courier stashing and such is at least counterable. Plan is simple, we kill the donkey, right ?
Well I had game where enemy Spectre, and then entire enemy team, were killing candies when they spawned from our bucket.
I guess it's a tactic, but it feels below the belt.

You can't kill a courier that's in the fountain.
teleported to the enemy candy with like 3 secs to spare before roshan team fight, it was at 68 while ours was at 65, tipped it to our favour with one candy just as it hit 0, their vengeful spirit would kill me every time roshan did his aoe by switching places :v:

you get an item for getting the most candies and an item for killing roshan at the end.
he doesn't have to get the most candies, but his team has to get the most candies.
and for roshan kill like you said, everyone gets an item of varying qualities.
it's implied that your team has to have more candies than the other team unless you're really dense.
Anyone want to form party for Diretide so there's at least some communication?

Im pretty sure its going to get removed, its Halloween themed after all, and if it stays, then valve has to come up with something "greater" next halloween, because this would be "meh" by that time.
I've been getting pretty nice drops. Axe's executioner set and a bunch of weapons for heroes that I actually play.
It's quite interesting that Shadow Essence runs out tomorrow.
