I recently downloaded Dota 2 under a spectator account so when I got paid and bought the early access it would already be downloaded.
But when I try to buy the early access, it says I already own Dota 2, and it's not letting me purchase it.

Uninstall the Dota Spectator Client and try installing Dota 2? Thats all I can think about :c

Yeah, just noticed it when I exited the game.
I just tested Chen taking control of Roshan and it didn't work. I also found out in the process of testing Enchantress can solo Roshan with level 4 Untouchable because he'll attack too slowly and run away from her repeatedly. Albeit, it takes 5 minutes to kill Roshan without any items but she can do it.

Fuck man, why do they keep porting useless non-strength heroes like medusa and slark? They've pretty much ported all the agi and int heros while all the fun strength heros are still untouched.

You should be able to buy the early access regardless of whether or not you own Dota 2 already.

I can only buy it as a gift, the 'Purchase for myself' option is greyed out
buy it as a gift to keep in your inventory, then activate it.

Other than the new heroes, yes.
He's an initiator/ganker/carry guy, his ulti, skewer and cleave means he can deal a shitload of damage with auto attacks to the entire enemy team in a short amount of time.
Most of all, he's an initiator.
Secondly he is semi-carry, not carrying as hard as other carries but given the items he can still kill 2+ guys during his ultimate.
Blink is mandatory, along with Arcaneboots unless you're mid which is the time you get Treads and gank shit.
He isn't that much of a support since his utility is quite shit, he's naturally carry-ish which makes him not being a that good support.
Magnus is great as an initiator but his carry ceiling is about as high as Slardar's(which, to be fair, can get pretty damn high.) He's not someone that can guarantee you a 1vs5 teamfight, but he's extremely good at starting a fight and lasting through it as he beats the shit out of you. Plus his Q has really good range, making him excellent at harassing early game in mid w/ bottles or if in lane with other laners(Ezalor's extremely good with Magnus.)
Also, don't forget his built-in battlefury you can snag up if you feel like pushing the lane even harder/jungling.
Stack 6 hearts for nearly 9k health.

Speaking about rediculous stat bonusing, what other heroes would benefit MASSIVELY from eth blade now? I'm thinking the new and buffed Gyrocopter, when he unleashes all his nukes on an enemy with his stun, coupled with his high agility, might be enough to solokill nearly any hero that doesn't have some sort of escape/disable ult
