Yes, definitely. He's already a semi-carry in the sense that getting support items would increase his power a lot more than independent ones would, like with Vlad's, drums, and Pipe. Kind of how Pudge works with them.

Don't ask me, My Alchemist score, with 2 wins and four losses, is at five. This is prior to the Alchemist buff, mark you.
Alchemist (and Dragon Knight) are my top3 performance heroes simply because I got incredible farm with them once or twice.
All the while not having played neither of the Hero much, so they just jumped on top of my performance list.

Then luckily my mid went well and I went 16-1 with the Sniper, having Mjollnir and Mask of Madness as first items (after treads, aquila and magic wand) and finally Daedalus. Aww yeah.

I play Sniper quite a bit even though I know in my heart that he's a bad hero.
I just find him fun to play for some reason, especially the schadenfreude I get when I ult someone :v:

Well he's not a bad hero, but I agree with everything you said. He's pretty useless for much of the early/mid-game, depending on how good of a player we're talking about.
It's just so fucking fun carry if you get farm. Hell I don't even like to play carrys usually, and I hate sniper, but it's still fun. Conflicting, isn't it? :v:
