When did pub stomps become intense?
whats worse was it was random draft
they literally picked to lose
I'm not sure why, but Visage is probably my best hero. I always come out with a positive kill/death, and the only matches I've played with him lately have all been losses. Enemy teams end up fed, yet I still find ways to make tons of kills afterwards.
Damn, I just love tinker more everytime I play him. He is starting to become my "go to" hero. It's just too fun to permasheep someone and zap his ass with lasers (and dagon maybe) over and over again

The fact that he rarely gets picked in pubs makes it even better, he's always available for some fun.
I think I had my best game as Keeper of Light I'll ever have in my entire life.
It was me and a Dragon Knight who carried the team, the other three disconnected after feeding the enemy team and only Riki managed to get 4 kills but later left. Enemy had Drow Ranger who carried their team and frost arrows which threatened me the most.
It was 2v5 and we were winning. It was a battle of the gods, two level 20's fending off an entire team of rangers(Lina, Drow, and Windrunner) along with Phantom Lance and Dazzle. While Dragon Knight slaughtered the balk of their forces I nuked from the back. Eventually DK pushed top as I held the mid against them and he slaughtered their towers allowing us to gain entry and start raping them. By this time the Drow Ranger had left.
I had 17 kills, 4 deaths, and 15 assists, when normally it's 10 deaths and 4 kills.

Tinker has always been my favorite, which reminds me. I saw a Tinker a day or two ago that never built Boots of Travel, yet had a level 4 dagon.
I wanted to cry.
Hey should change the name of Mjollnir, it's problematic because it's impossible to pronounce over chat. Im just fonna start calling it the upgraded Maelstrom
yup
I used her illusions to get rid of refraction, made her much easier to kill
There's also her lack of phase boots or blink dagger, which are pretty essential to being able to survivability/chase as her.
Does anyone else think that Valve should just make the hero performance bars based on wins and losses instead of "skill" level? It is impossible for support heroes to get as many bars as carry heroes.
Haha had a game were I randomed Ursa and a dude randomed Magnus, and they tried to kill me while I was roshing, Magnus gave me empower and ultied all 5 of them, 1 full swipe of overpower + enrage and their entire team was gone, I love it when u random heroes and you just find those silly synergies.

I thought ursa with battlefuries were standard?
I've been playing Batrider a lot recently.
It seems that he is best when you play him ultra aggressive.
I know, I know, old names tend to stick, but come on guys.
It's Nature's Prophet or Tequoia.
Furion is name of the Warcraft lore hero of the Night Elves, Furion Stormrage to be exact, mightiest and wisest of the druids. He was the NP's model in warcraft Dota.
There is no real valid reason to stop calling NP Furion, but Valve does great job on new names, Zharvakko, Karroch, Ostarion, Tequoia has a nice feeling to it and is smilar to Sequoia.
You do know his real name was MALfurion Stormrage right? And he was actually named Furion (Natures Prophet) in the original.
Also Tequoia is a bad name as I can't spell it unless looking directly at the word, also nobody knows what I'm referring to if I say that.
+I've noticed that every "kid" picks up calling him Furion as soon as they land in Dota 2 and refuse to call him anything else. Just the pronounciation of that by them is bloody irritating.
Some of us might have actually played the original, and then stayed with his name and sheep stick because its easier to say.
I don't see anyone still calling skeleking "leoric"
or brewmaster "panda"
etc.
Theres a lot of people calling him Leoric, but a lot of people actually called him SK or SkeleKing in the original.
Brewmaster is referred to as panda a lot.
I call him furion or just prophet, even though I never really got into the original Dota. I just got used to it I guess.
Nature's Profit.
Fixed Jugg's loadout to not have him buy boots first.
hehe
When I random some hero and I have no idea what to buy I just buy boots + 3 branches and consumables.
It's trollish, but it's quite good at the same time.

Most of the time, boots first is not the best option.
whenever i open dota it just gets stuck at "connecting to dota 2 server"
anyone else have a problem like this?
Back in the days of HoN when I was new and tried to learn Ophelia(HoN version of Chen), the guide I was going off of didn't give starting items but said to have Plated Greaves(70 MS, +3 all stats, +5 armor, active that's pretty much Bucker and was crafted with a brown boot and the HoN version of Buckler) by like 10 minutes.
I stupidly always started with a boot.

Chen is that type of a hero that can literally start with anything and still do good.
I once bought2 sets of wards (blue and obs) + courier and a clarity and proceeded to give obs to suicide laner and other set to our safelane cause they were facing off Gondar there.
I did quite good that match. Got a Mek and Scepter at <18 mins.

Chen and omniknight are a terrifying combo.
So the enemy team has landed an enigma and sandking combo on all five of us, Chen popped his mek and ulti and omniknigh did his ult.
Our team was back to near full HP and practically invulnerable.

Any hero that can take control of the neutral creeps is capable of this. Chen's just especially good at it.

My mistake, thanks for correcting that. But it's still close to Warcraft lore, which Dota 2 is trying to get away from so : 1. People get more of a feeling of transition for future improving purposes 2. Kottick can't sue Valve.
someone reported me for being bad
in a coop bot easy match
:(

Absolutely, completely, 100% wrong.
