THIS MEEPO https://dotabuff.com/matches/48832915 THIS FUCKING MEEPO
The performance bar is pretty wrong 99% of the time anyways.
It seems right sometimes, but other times it just seems to give a random number. For instance, my performance bar on QoP is midway between 4 and 5, yet I'm a pretty subpar QoP.
Back in the days of HoN when I was new and tried to learn Ophelia(HoN version of Chen), the guide I was going off of didn't give starting items but said to have Plated Greaves(70 MS, +3 all stats, +5 armor, active that's pretty much Bucker and was crafted with a brown boot and the HoN version of Buckler) by like 10 minutes. I stupidly always started with a boot.
I remember trying to learn these games with hon, picked ophelia and tried to control the ancients and in seconds our legionaire smurf was in all chat screaming his fingers off about me trying to control the ancients. Everyone laughed at me and my team spammed concede votes nonstop and when that didn't work they fed as much as possible and screamed at me the whole time while I died a little on the inside. Also I built blood chalice on every hero after thinking it was the best item ever, also striders.
no wait do the damage stacks go through battlefury's cleave
I do believe it does. I did tests on ursa vs 3 pudges, my brain is an asshole now and won't tell me if my tests are conclusive. Basically, with 3 battlefuries equipped (105% cleave) if ursa is hitting one pudge (with fury swipes skilled), all other pudges are hit for pretty much the same damage, so after whacking for a while they are almost equally all low (though non-main pudges are slightly lower due to 105% cleave, as opposed to 100% damage done to pudge himself). Now, this proves that battlefury ursa works, right ? [editline]12th October 2012[/editline] I think I might consider Battlefury a luxury item now on Ursa. I mean, after vlads, blink and possible BKB only stuff like Basher/Abyssal are worthwhile, but any DPS item gets kinda wasted, because you are weird mixture of burst, physical and melee hero whose damage peaks quickly, but remains dangerous for a while. *Rapier is awesome, but god forbid enemies go bearhunting.
not to forget that cleave damage ignores armor activate bkb go at enemy team and cleave their fucking faces off
Problem being Ursa is hero you learn to keep away from/deter the moment you see him. You know if he comes close he will start stacking damage and killing you quickly, so you naturally spread and run away or use a powerful disable. However, if you get a good Magnataur on team with BF stacking ursa...

Lol... I played with an AM who farmed all game and we were about to win and he started feeding. I reported him and then traded, so I restarted dota after the game ended so it would show up, got the report notification when I turned Dota back on. :v:

I think either they go instantly or the report system is just fucking with me.
Also I built blood chalice on every hero after thinking it was the best item ever, also striders.
I had a friend back then who would always build Blood Chalice even if he wasn't having any mana issues at all. I've got a different friend now who does the same thing with Soul Ring. (For those who don't know Blood Chalice is the HoN version of Soul Ring, except the mana it gives you is permanent iirc.)

Is Visage used much in the compet scene?
you seriously called it compet like is this a joke its comp or competitive
you seriously called it compet like is this a joke its comp or competitive
Does it really matter? All I wanted to know is if Visage was used in the comp/competitive scene.
Does it really matter? All I wanted to know is if Visage was used in the comp/competitive scene.
Tri-lanes I believe. Trilane generated enough damage for Soul Assumption to be devastating, combined with his slow and nuke-resistance.
Friend wrote a blog thingy relating to lol and dota 2 http://www.dota2portal.org/t3626-blog-1-from-champions-to-heroes I found it good enough to post here.
Just noticed I have 300 wins, probably from an awesome winning streak 2 days ago. Almost broke even with my 1:1 W/L ratio as well. Then I noticed that 4/5 of the games I played yesterday were as Int heroes. Turns out I mostly play Agi or Int heroes without really thinking about it, so now's a good time to ask which hero group do you prefer in general, Str, Agi or Int?

Good times
500 wins. And I was scared when I rolled Visage.
Turns out I mostly play Agi or Int heroes without really thinking about it, so now's a good time to ask which hero group do you prefer in general, Str, Agi or Int?
Intelligence > Strength > Agility, my favorite heroes are usually int heroes and I like to build utility items. When I want to play someone who is durable I obviously play Str. Agility is my least favorite because they're almost entirely carries.

I prefer playing supports and initiators, I can play carries decently but I find them boring.
Personally I do not prefer any hero category over another. I play all heroes but there are simply some that I enjoy playing more than others. Gotta say that a lot of the fun heroes are strength though. Also, I seem to be the only guy who loves to simply sit in a lane and farm. I dont know why, I just find it fun :v:
