Can Batrider ult someone and then blink away? If not, then why is it a recommended item?
Any blinking abilities will break lasso
Any blinking abilities will break lasso
U cant force staff + Lasso either, if im not wrong, its something like, if you move 700 units in like half a second or so, it breaks the lasso.
Guys, it says so on the tooltip. This shouldn't be a debate.

You can Force Staff while the target is lassoed. I dragged SK from his fountain to river (-wtf) with no problem. You buy a Dagger on him to blink in and lasso someone out. Seemed pretty basic to me? EDIT: Also, don't cast his 3rd skill 50 times at once. It crashes DotA.
what kind of questions should be answered in a how to carry guide?
So I left my cleverbot for steam on while I was playing dota and someone wanted to trade with me. They were chatting with the bot for a few minutes and then I got reported on steam because my friend told the guy chatting with the bot that I never trade, I'm a douche, and that I'm gonna scam him for items.
God I hate solo queuing Being bad is one thing not being able to follow instructions is another level...
what kind of questions should be answered in a how to carry guide?
how/why/when is someone a carry when (i.e, when is it safe, dangerous, etc) to cs in lane, as well as what gold you should have at 10/20/30min how does i map awareness how to escape ganks [sp](lmao what's a tp scroll??????)[/sp] bfury/radiance/midas, when, why and why not when to help your team defend towers when are you ready to go on the offensive making proper item choices (i.e don't make a butterfly if the clinkz already has an mkb) who to target first in fights and why possibly when to engage (it's not carry specific per se, but it probably should be answered) i think that's as general as i can make it without going hero specific

Clinkz got fed really early by a mix of Me and my lane partner and then everything kind of just went to pieces.
Can Batrider ult someone and then blink away? If not, then why is it a recommended item?
No, although you can use Force Staff to drag the lasso'd unit a little bit further than you normally could.
That Earthshaker wants to be a carry.
dedni es lol !!!!
dedni es lol !!!!
its a pretty hilarious build for es though, you gotta admit [editline]13th October 2012[/editline] i love it when there are multiple ways of playing everything(unlike league)
earthshaker with shadowblade and lots of base damage is pretty amazing though [editline]13th October 2012[/editline] :v:
I've been wondering if ethereal blade would be a good pick up on Earthshaker.
Is there any valid reason or strategy that involes Undying getting 1 level of tombstone and then maxing soul rip first ,decay second with ultimate at normal intervals ? I can't think of one, except for possible kotl lane and very squishy opponent with timing attacks so that 3 waves of creeps appear.
I've been wondering if ethereal blade would be a good pick up on Earthshaker.
It'd probably be better on Pudge.
It'd probably be better on Pudge.
Okay. I don't see how that's relevant. But okay.

Maxing Soul Rip early probably is a bad idea as well, as you will not have 15/20 units in your lane early on. I generally leave Soul Rip at 2 and max it last, unless you are team fighting all the time or people tend to get into your lane. What I like to do is start with Decay, possibly get first blood with it, then take a point in Soul Rip, max tombstone even over ult at lvl 6. Take ult, max decay and finish up Soul Rip.

[editline]13th October 2012[/editline] Lich with Mana boots and Dagon :v:
tbh manaboots is fine on lich/kotl/lion if your team needs it The boots don't benefit you, but they do benefit your team.
Number one rule of Dota 2: People don't want to change their playing habits.
Except her agumeneted his choices. He wasn't that kind of a player that tells others to shut up, more so he accused me of lacking knowledge about the game and that his intent was to maximise nuking potential asap. Against manadraining Lion. With Slardar (me) on the lane. I am pretty sure mana is issue if Dirge wants to spam nukes, and AoE stun is marvelous for Tombstone.
but you have to be level 7 to get level 4 in any ability.
Yeah but he meant that level 1 you take Decay, levels 2 and 3 you take Soul rip, and levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 Tombstone.
Yeah but he meant that level 1 you take Decay, levels 2 and 3 you take Soul rip, and levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 Tombstone.
generally 'a point' means one point.
People really underestimate stats. There are quite many skills out there that scale really badly such as Ogre Magi's Ignite, yet people take more levels in them; increasing the mana costs and (slightly) the damage. And all this time they could be more tanky, have more mana and attack speed.
What's the multicast for ignite?
