Invoker isn´t that hard to play really, but he has a high skill ceiling. A skilled Invoker player who knows when to use his spells effectively and its cooldown and not just know the combinations and shit out some random spells is infinitely more useful. Though this could be said about any hero, Invoker is a special case. The gap between an average Invoker and a skilled Invoker is huge.

Sniper is a bad hero.
Zeus is still not worth picking.
They should make his ulti a 100% hit chance, even on invisible or Faceless Void.
And increase cast range on both his spells to 1000.
And maybe make his passive deal 2/4/6/8% of TOTAL HP.
Valve needs to fix the leaderboard, right now it's pretty much just people who used cheats in a lobby.

Sniper buffs are cool, the most relevant one probably being vision on shrapnel.
I wonder how will the new Bane's subability work with Rubick.
If Rubick steals Nightmare, can Bane use his ability to wake himself if Rubick sleeps someone ?
Or if Rubick steals the subability, can he wake up from Bane's nightmare ? My guess is he steals both ability and subability, but we'll see.
I don't know about the Last Word change, though. It messes with Silencer's playstyle in a way I really don't like and remove his ability to counter heroes like Earthshaker and Tiny.

He can still put it on high priority targets that need to chain spells. Granted it's no longer a passive and requires a bit more attention. But all in all, it makes his laning phase much easier.

I'm probably somewhere up there then. Me and my friends screw around in lobbies for hours using that.
Just last night we tested if Spectre's ultimate made an illusion for each meepo. Then he broke skills by spamming it.
On a side note, good to see that Razors ultimate got a buff, I always thought it was a bit slow. Then again, I'm probably just saying that because Razor is one of my best heroes.

Thing with his passive was that it was awesome and yet weak.
Cool, auto-silence on cast on any hero who's around! So useful. Until they get BKB.
In that case, passive was entirelly useless for entire teamfight situation and remained good only for small encouters, and yet there you had to stay near target for it to work and Silencer has no natural chasing capabilities.
+ A lot of heroes didn't give a damn about his passive. It was minor inconvenience at best. Sure, poor supports with big spells had issues with teamfights against Silencer, but then again they could usually throw at least 1 imporant spell (be it freeze, nuke, etc).
His new Last Word not only combines with his Curse of the Silent ,which only comboed nicely with his ultimate before, but provides new utility, precise spellcaster distruption. You just pick a guy and he is forced to do one of the following :
- Cast and be silenced for up to 6 seconds with 300 damage on top of that
- Not cast, and take 300 damage after 6 seconds with 300 nuke and bonus 6 sec disarm
- Pop BKB to get rid of it as you have to initiate or something
Notice how last one works in favour of Silencer.
If Silencer sees enemy caster pop his BKB, he can cast his ultimate to counter him further. Example, Enigma getting Last Worded, pops BKB to initiate with Blackhole, woopdie-doo Global Silence pierces BKB. Before this, he would have to guess when Enigma is going to do it.
Now, Last Word provides vision, so he knows where enemy is, if BKB is popped he can instantly coutneract with Global Silence, if Last Word procs, your team can initiate as enemy just got 6 seconds of silence, or maybe even disarm.
As a person who mainly plays Invoker and Silencer, I'm loving the new changes to Silencer.

i love bane's ability to cancel nightmare on himself, considering there's a second of invulnerability before it's activated you can use it to dodge spells if timed right.

So, the other team, everyone of them was a bitch but their wisp(Fucking loved their wisp). They were stomping us into the ground, and PA had battlefury and more.
Our slardar crashed or something, we asked to wait
Rubick and Sniper were just shitting it up in the text chat, constantly unpausing. Sniper called us sandniggers and rubick kept saying rude things. We kept pausing, and it was a pause battle until we couldn't pause anymore.
We finally couldn't pause anymore, and our drow got a triple kill. We turned the loss around, slardar came back (but got an abandonment), and we raped their whole team.
Fuck shit talkers.
