Dota 2 General Chat - ALCHEMIST IS BACK BABY - Games

Nobody talks in the Facepunch chat channel anymore.

I hate normal matchmaking. Two games in a row you got shit talking smartasses returning here from queing with friends.

Today I tried venturing outside bot games and playing public matchmaking. From the very start one of their nerds quit and we started pretty decent and I thought we'd have it easy, bot slowly our team ragequit until it was just me, at which point I accidentally found out you can control AFK players and proceeded to bumrush several level 15+s with 5 level 8-11 heroes and then realized at the end of the game that my records now permanently show a game where I ended 0-12. ...Back to bots!

Silly game idea; think of a terribly unfitting Dota 2 cosmetic item/set, then try justify it with your own lore. For instance, a clown suit for Storm Spirit. "The Ancient Order of Fragglesmith have gone beyond the normal lengths of joke-telling; training their entire lives to perfect their slapstick comedy, the Fragglesmith clowns have been known to seriously injure or even die for the sake of a good joke. Their spirits are high, and their desire to cheer up others is higher. Storm Spirit has decided to honor these joke-sters by donning their garb." See? Totally stupid, but it almost sounds fitting.

Make it sound serious/logical, while actually you just want bear to dress as a cowboy or something. It's good method, to be honest.

Today is Pugna appreciation day

Oh man DOTA 2 is so fuking hard and everyone is so mean :((((((((( Actucally with the exception of being steam rolled I had fun, I helped roll my team to victory with the Lich, got most of the items effects down and I'm trying to learn how to attack at the right moment to get extra gold. Overall I like this game and can't wait to learn more.

Opening Dota now seems to crash Steam instantly, leaving Dota open and unresponsive, and cuts my net a few moments after. Well, I seem to be ultimately fackeyed. [editline]beans[/editline] Dare I ask if there are any fixes for this? It's not happened with anything else and my searches showed nothing of use. I need my fix of Dota, I've gotta get this sorted out.

The only thing that can help you is a strength carry at that point.

Why do I bother queueing up on US-East? I should just queue up on the Russian servers, I'd have better luck finding english speaking teammates there.

Last night I had like 5 different countries all arguing on US East. Two Russians, 3 Asians, a few Spanish speakers, and me and some other poor English speaker trying to make sense of the constant arguing in all chat between all of them. We won because our team didn't hate eachother as much as their team did I think.

Problem is, they're even worse players than most BR's.

The amount of russians really doesnt change, it just queues faster.
