Tried my first DOTA 2 game after reaching lvl 20 in LoL (inb4 shitstorm). I kinda like it ( I played some melee assassin kinda thing with a teleport and another simple active) but the shop window is confusing. I'd say it would divide the items in strength, agility and intelligence, but it doesn't. There's like 2 or 3 tabs with 6 sub tabs or whatever. In short: I had no idea what to buy so I just looked for +agi items and the general AD carry stuff. So even though they made the attributes easier, it sure didn't make the shopping easier.
Recommended items are normally a safe bet if you're new to a hero.

Yeah use recommended items, or explore it through against bots or something. When you get better, start using the search field and lo and behold, something amazing has happened.

Wow odd you say that, I just had a CM where Rubick, Undying and Sven tri-laned bottom. [url=https://dotabuff.com/matches/53193035]I knew from the picks it was gg already[/url], but it was just too hilarious. Anti Mage soloed the top lane thinking his blink would save him but it really didn't cause he was an idiot. I was surprised that Rubick never took my ult, he took ravage once but then took enfeeble or something so I had no clue what he was doing. Naga's ult and Ravage/Epicenter was pretty fun

Is there really any point in jungling? I feel like it's far better to lane many heroes that are often put in the jungle (Lone Druid, Axe, Dark Seer, etc.).
You get more overall farm for your team. It's sort of an extra lane.
However, jungling does not pay off as well as an even somewhat freefarming lane.

Your solo laner will get exp and farm faster than they would if the lane had 2 people as opposed to 1. It also opens up your lanes to ganks, which is the sole purpose of jungling really.
The heroes you listed are heroes that don't use summons or lifesteal, so it is probably more efficient for some players to lane them. Heroes like Enigma, Chen, Enchantress and Furion don't need to take damage to jungle, they just need the mana to keep their minions alive and can jungle faster than the heroes you mentioned most of the time.
another thing with jungling is that you don't know where the jungler is most of the time
with lane heroes it's like "oh, rubick is missing be careful"
but you can't say "oh chen is missing be careful" because for all you know he's trying to farm a mek when he's actually coming to show the light of god on your mid lane

i love playing ursa but i haven't tried almost any other hero but ursa...recommend me some? preferably similar to ursa, melee and all that.
also what are good hero combos if im playing ursa? me and my friend tried crystal maiden + ursa and we did great but he didn't like crystal maiden that much...any other combos?

Skeleton King. He's as much of a right clicker as Ursa (Ursa you just smash your fingers over your abilities simultaneously so I class him as a right clicker) - meaning he's easy and fun. You just Q and right click.
And CM + Ursa is a good combo, anyone with a slow/stun/disable is good news for Ursa.
