When valve takes an innovative idea from indie developers to their new game, they hire the developers. Valve is doing it right.

What about all 3 penumbra games? Eufloria? Audiosurf? Aquaria? Beat Hazard? Toribash? Sumotori (or whatever it's called), Lugaru? Gish? World of Goo? Shattered Horizon?
I can't think of any indie games that could be played on some flash game website.

I can see why they are doing this. When was the last time they brought out something original it's always like call of duty 5324342
They split up Prototype's development team, fired a bunch of workers from Neversoft, and basically killed about 3 dev teams that they'd had doing shitty movie tie-in deals for the past 5 years.
Activision stifle creativity, and if they're allowed to monopolize the gaming market, they'll kill off the industry's evolution into an art form.
