SL 115 now, defeated Ornstein and Smough on New Game+.

Still hate them.

Also, I was looking at ascension-stuff and noticed I can create a sword from Gwyn's Soul! WHOAH! IT MUST BE POWERFUL!

I created it, and used 10 demonite ore to upgrade it to +5.

...384 damage. That's like, 50 more than a +5 Black Knight Sword. Dammit.

You can play online, just don't do reverse hallowing and you won't get invaded and you can't summon other players. The only online aspect that would be left are the information signs.

You'll want to create the weapon anyway to get all the weapons in the game.

When Im playing, I hardly ever see any orange soapsigns. In demons souls they were everywhere but now they're scarse.

I can't find Blighttown
Is it past the New Lando Ruins, Last time I went down there I got raped by like 40 ghosts. (In the building after the white Barrier)

Firelink Shrine -> New Londo Ruins -> Valley of Drakes -> Blighttown

The way to Valley of Drakes is really close to where you enter New Londo Ruins, you'll need a Master Key though.

The atmosphere of the prison level in Demon's Souls is great; creepy as fuck.

Also just bought Dark Souls because of how much I'm loving Demon's Souls, can't wait for it to arrive. Main complaint I'm hearing about it is the lag on Blight-town, is it really that bad?

Sometimes it fucks you over, especially during fights. But it is not gamebreaking or that annoying. But it can get a bit frustrating. Because you also have to navigate through Blighttown which is a bit tricky because of the platforms.

Try to get some firebombs from the Undead Merchant at the Undead Burg. They are pretty effective agains the Taurus. Also the best tactic is the climb up the tower and do a "fallattack" right to the head.

Also you should not target the demon because it really decreases your mobility, I usually jump between his lags when he attacks. It makes it quite easy.

Or you could just level up some more and farm some souls, that always helps out.

I had him targeted which screwed me over last time, I did the jump attack thing but sort of ran around his legs till he hit me off the castle :/

What I do is run to the far end where the other door is at and wait for him to come to me. I wait for him to start attacking, then I run by him back to the ladder and repeat.

Heh, I was just doing the Taurus Demon on a second character today and he was totally trashing me. I ran to the other side and then ran past him back to the ladder and he somehow always catches up to me and kills me while I'm on the ladder.

Ok so now my options include a fire-breathing drake, a guy with a huge club that kills me in one hit, another tall fucker with a sword on the top of a tower and the scariest looking pig I've ever seen surrounded with undead.

My victory over the taurus demon gave me a few minutes of happiness at least

for the drake, run like hell to the middle on the bridge and down the stairs, beat this guy later.

for havel (the huge club dude) easiest way is to get the drake sword, remove all armour (you get hit your dead anyway) and roll behind him when he starts to slam the club down, then proceed to stab him in the back.

for the black knight, same again just circle strafe and back stab.

and for the boar lure it and run back into the tiny space with the ladder, once it walks away fire a couple of arrows at it, once it turns around rinse and repeat.

oh if you kill the boar lure all the undead in front of the gate using arrows, means you don't have to take even longer to get to the next bonfire.
