The curse meter builds up so slowly, his attack animations are slow and noisy as fuck, he only has 4 different attacks he can perform (breath outward from him, breath around him, explode in crystal, tail swipe), he has no long range attacks at all, he can't attack you at all unless you go on the initiative since he's slow as fuck, he can only turn 20° every second or so meaning you can run around him faster than he can turn, he can only move 10 meters before he gets exhausted and has to pause for a second, sometimes if you're close to him but not close enough to not be in range of any of his attacks or he's looking in a weird direction he will just stay still and look like an idiot until you do something so his AI re-ignites itself.
I'm sorry but I never understood how anyone can find him hard to beat other than fear factor after seeing a huge dragon slug fly into the room you're occupying.
Seath the Scaleless is a stupid push-over. In fact, all of the bosses who had a Lord Soul were. None of them were challenging, but I guess it makes sense since [sp]Kaathe/Frampt say they have no real use anymore[/sp]. The only boss that actually gave me a hard time was the Bed of Chaos but you could hardly call it a boss.

Nito and Four Kings are hard for the first time even after a few deaths, Nito has skeletons covering his back at all times and if you venture too deep you'll get giants too, and Four Kings just keeps multiplying if you don't have enough damage output depending on when you encounter them. Seath has nothing, just a dumb crystal that makes him invulnerable, and when you destroy the crystal he gets stunned for maybe 5 seconds.
I never even learned how to fight Nito properly, whenever he started screaming I just rolled randomly instead of counting a second or whatever to dodge the gravelord sword dance.
Not everyone knows that you're supposed to [sp]break the pillar thing in the back[/sp], plus he curses people a lot.
What happens if you leave that pillar, does it have any impact on the battle?
Was so obvious imo haha
In my first fight he [sp]broke it by himself[/sp] and I got confused when he suddenly just stopped for a moment. On New Game+ and New Game++ I had to do it myself though.

Yes, you die.

They suggest on the Dark souls wiki that you let him do it for you so you can use his stun to run around and break his tail.
I didn't realize he had three though :/
nito is the lord soul that always was the hardest for me, if you don't use a lightning weapon he takes very little damage and he oneshots you with that spike in NG++++
Man I love the Elite knight armor.
Who ever this dude is he, really deserves a medal.
That is some Fuckin' Pimpin' Cosplay. I wonder if there are any more Souls Cosplays. They all seem to be of awesome quality.
Seeth was one of the easiest bosses I've fought btw. I don't understand why people have difficulty with him.
[editline]5th July 2012[/editline]
Battleaxe worked well for me for a long time.
I thought so too until I tried to break his tail as a primarily sorcery using character that has a magic melee weapon that does hardly any damage against him.
So basically it came down to lack of preparation and doing things the most challenging way possible for the most part.

Seeth can be a bit of a dick and start tail swing spamming you to death, Im quite curious how you can get him to lose his tail during the first fight that your supposed to die, news to me.
Every time I die to seath, it's because the tail attack insta-kills me.

oh, sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you could cause him to lose his tail in the first fight, don't know how I managed to do that.

Ah, nevermind then.
Speaking about Soul's Cosplays...

I know, I found him easy as well. I'm just saying some people could have trouble with him for those reasons.

Anyways, what armor do you guys recommend if I'm trying to look like a Highland warrior?

In my 17 the only time one ever got me was when I wanted to see what the animation looked like.

It grabs you and chomps on you when you bend down to open it.

I really wish they didn't have a summoning level cap. Being high level sucks. It's hard to find people to play with...

The way the mimic attacks you when it stands up is hilarious. I mean, check out those fucking kicks!
I must say, the Mimic's from the Dark Cloud games are worse, seeing that you dont know when you'll run into them. When i was younger... Nope Nope Nope Nope!

The worse is when all the mimics lull you into a false sense of security, only using their slow swipes and easy to read kick, then suddenly jump-kick my head off in the Duke's Archives.
I didn't know these bastards knew Kung-Fu.

If only the PC port of Dark Souls had modding support, Give the Mimics the Yellow and Black jumpsuit that Bruce Lee wears in Game of Death.
What is the shit that grows on that guy's head in the video?!

That freaky shit the Egg infection while being part of the Chaos Servants. If you attack one of the Egg carriers while being part of them.
