The stuff of nightmares. It gives me the creeps when i look at it.
Do you guys want to organize a dark souls pvp tournament or event? I really want to do some good pvp with people who aren't bs backstabbing or using shit tactics.

I'd be up for that, what console?
I was afraid that I'd catch the egg infection when I went to leave the chaos servant covenant. Luckily, so long as you leave through that velka servant dude in the church you don't get egg infected. Though being infected with eggs lets you learn some extra pyromancies from one of the chaos servants.
Anyways, what armor do you guys recommend if I'm trying to look like a Highland warrior?
Nothing?

I'm on xbox.

Oh also IDK if anyone has announced this here yet, but Prepare to Die is going to come out this winter (months after pc gets it) for xbox and ps3 for $15, instead of being free. It is free on the pc version though.
Don't give a shit, getting it anyways.
I am too, as much as I think it's bs. If dark souls wasn't so fucking good I wouldn't be. I'll buy the DLC for xbox and probably pirate a copy for the comp.
I'm on PS3, Man this game needs servers for multiplatform, that would be great
You think you have it bad. This is a Japanese game, and xbox is unpopular there. I get like 4 pvp matches in a row that will be the same guy, with the red eye. And only the noobiest, douchyest and most dedicated people play here still, so the pvp is primarily bs, or getting your ass kicked by someone who is way better than you. =S

Why did i have to fall in love with this game? Why can't i be normal and play cod?
Decided to take my PvP character through the world.
Went through Sen's Fortress, Anor Londo, Demon Ruins (like a million times because I kept forgetting to do something before going there), and I ran through some of Lost Izalith to get the Chaos Fire Whip.
I became Rank 2 in the Chaos Servant covenant for that special Pyromancy (you also get one for simply joining the covenant)
Right now I'm just working on my Attunement so I can hold a few more slots.
Has anyone gotten all the achievements yet? I have to get a +5 crystal weapon, find a ghost blade, get gwyns miracle and get the rank 2 chaos servant pyromancy then I'm done with the story mode portion of the game. I might try to get some more good pvp out of it but I've given up a lot of hope.
I'm pretty sure I just soul speared his tail off.
Fucking love those people who just disconnect when they're defeated. Fucking faggot lost to me after killing a bunch of players in the darkwood and didn't even stay until his body hit the dirt. Didn't get anything.
Huh, so is level 94 ridiculously overleveled for fighting the four kings, or is it just the one thing me and my large club +15 are good at? It was pretty ridiculous, I killed them all in 3-4 hits, and used just one estus flask.

Most people finish the game at about 60-80 so yes, you're very over-leveled if you're not on NG+.

I finished at 112, didn't feel overpowered
I finished the game for the first time at 91, might be because I got 20 levels just before Gwyn by using all the available soul items in the game.
I finished the game the first time at level 112 because on my first run I had no skill and grinded forest people forever.
My second run I got to level 125 for pvp, but most of the souls for leveling came from an invasion right before gwyn. There was a guy who I assume was hacking because I got 1.2 million souls for the kill.

I got lucky, Killed a level 700 some, got 800K souls
Went from 71-92 in one jump
I guess I got so overleveled because I ground a bit so I could use certain weapons and miracles. That and sunbroing whenever I had trouble with a boss.
I just beat Gwyn. I kind of regret using parries on him, it made the fight way too easy.
Wow what is with the difficulty in NG+? Capra is so much harder than before, I haven't even beaten him yet, but Quelaag was way easier. I guess Capra just benefited much more from the extra stats than Quelaag since he can actually hit me.
I think all enemy stats double. Not positive though.
it's actually a 3x modifier per + so it starts at 3x and goes all the way to 18x the enemies' stats like their health/damage/poise and other stats
although it varies per mob, for instance the mobs in the undead burg don't actually do triple damage but they do have triple health, although their base health is very low so you still easily one-shot them
and since queelag has low base stats too for instance even in NG+ against fully upgraded weapons she doesn't stand a chance
So I just bare-handed (I mean without any item in my left hand) parried Havel the Rock, and killed him. This is a really fucking fun playstyle. Greatsword + bare hand.
Try my personal favorite
Right hand chaos +5 flamberge
Left hand fire +10 notched whip
you can still parry and your bleed damage stacks

Wait, did you invade me? I got swarmed by enemies, still trying to fight you, then got shot in the ass and died. I was using starter warrior equipment, but with no shirt or helmet.
Ouch. Just got defeated by the Four Kings. The whole blackness is pretty irritating when fighting them for the first time. Any tips for them?

Wear light armor, use a strong weapon, get in close. Start swinging. Also, if you haven't already done so, you can summon Witch Beatrice to this fight, and she can be a massive help.
You first have to summon her for the Moonlight Butterfly fight in the Darkroot Garden, so if you haven't already done that, you might want too.
Magic works really well too.

Are you on PS3? If so, what level are you?
I always used heavy armor, went just infront of them. Somehow when you directly in their faces, they are less dangerous. Their attacks have huge ranges and are devastating. The close attacks are really weak.
