Wear light armor, use a strong weapon, get in close. Start swinging. Also, if you haven't already done so, you can summon Witch Beatrice to this fight, and she can be a massive help.
You first have to summon her for the Moonlight Butterfly fight in the Darkroot Garden, so if you haven't already done that, you might want too.
Magic works really well too.

Are you on PS3? If so, what level are you?
Defeated the butterfly without her help, so summoning her sadly isn't an option.
I'm currently on 75
Wait, did you invade me? I got swarmed by enemies, still trying to fight you, then got shot in the ass and died. I was using starter warrior equipment, but with no shirt or helmet.
When? Haven't played since mid June. I've been spreading that idea on reddit though.
It works better with a +15 notched whip and 45 dex. Add in my favorite pyro combo (great chaos fireball and chaos firestorm) and everything dies.
Ouch. Just got defeated by the Four Kings. The whole blackness is pretty irritating when fighting them for the first time. Any tips for them?
Fire weapon, hit hard. High poise is good. Get in close, getting hit by the hilt doesn't hurt too badly. Swing until they die, heal up, look around until a new one spawns. Use a dark hand as a shield to block magic attacks, otherwise swing two handed.
Stone armor + havel's ring + abyss ring + fire claymore or straights word should kill them super quick.

Never mind, was probably a redditor or something. It was just today that I fought them, whoever they might be.
Thanks for the tips guys, just ripped them apart. Was easier than I expected, I just needed to know their attack patterns.
What was he wearing? I wear seeker hat, eastern armor, Havel gloves, and Havel feet. 76 poise and you look purdy.
So I get invaded by the bonfire in Darkroot Garden. As the invader makes his way toward the bonfire, a red summon sign shows up, so I decide to summon him.
The first invader shows up while the summoned invader is coming in.
We have a nice three-way fight. The first invader kills the summoned invader, and as I try to backstab the first invader, he rolls backwards off the side of the cliff.
Easy 90k souls :v:

Don't remember, some robes or something.

You can tank easily, if you've used pyromancy at all, I'd suggest using iron flesh, otherwise than that, before you fall into the abyss equip the heaviest shit you can find (probably the stone forest armor) with the highest defense rating and just stand there and hit him.
This is a great point in the game to use Havel's ring, as it halves your equip load.
Hah, I just found out that wearing the mask of the father with Smough's armor makes you look like a fat middle aged man. Anyone know any other funny combinations?
If I could add one thing to this game, it'd be an item that restores all of your spells/pyromancy/miracles.
When doing PvP, I tend to use up my spells and stuff pretty fast. And in a place like the Darkroot Garden, it's hard to get to the bonfire just to rest without being invaded. It seems like it's a constant fog wall blocking the path.

I certainly wouldn't like that. For some reason whenever anyone has invaded me, I can't dodge their spells at all, even if I'm very far away from where the projectile appears to be when it hits. I think it's a lag thing. In order to stand a chance I have to duck behind cover and hope I can get them to waste all of their spells. Besides, I think that would just let people spam all the powerful spells to get through levels easily, and the only way that wouldn't happen would be if it was too rare to consistently use for pvp.
Also, do homeward bones work if the fog appears but the invader hasn't? Either that or you could just quit.

Definitely sounds like a lag problem.
My other idea was that the item would only restore your currently selected spell.
I just played as pyromancer and entered Blighttown, honestly I even enjoyed it :v: I took every item and killed every single motherfucker out there. Usually I just rush to Queelag and pick some stuff up, which is necessary for my build.
Also, I went to the Forest where you have to buy that crest to open the door. I wanted to farm some souls for my pyromancy hand. So I got invaded by a guy, when I killed him, another one appeared. I killed him to. Then the one I have defeated before appears again and I kill him again. By that point I used all my spells and estus. Then the other one arrived again, during the fight I accidently fell of a clip.
SO MANY SKELETON BABIES
I have no idea how to improve this build...

I can change the Monk robes for Knight's Armor if needed for extra protection and poise, I could ditch the extra strength for 15 Inteligence for such spells such as cast light or Chameleon. I just dont know if that 15 Inteligence is a waste. Im also wondering if that 20% health would make a difference in PVP.
Wow, I kill everything with ease but Priscilla just slaughtered me. It hit her 20 times with the lightning spear and some pyromancy.
It is really hard to hit her because the spear is accurate and has not a very broad range.

Oh god, those 2 archers at Anor Londo are so annoying. I passed that area countless times, but now they really annoy the fuck out of me. The right one won't take his fucking sword to follow me. Juggling around that position is making me go insane :v:

Stick with WotG, SLB, and maybe emit force. The first two are sufficient. Switch the avelyn for a divine Baller side sword. I like to run paladin gear on my dex-faith but that's just me.
Pump the rest into vit. You want 40 vit, you can survive with less than 40 end. With smaller weapons 35 end is fine.

That part was bullshit. Even as a knight the knockback is unfair.
That part was bullshit. Even as a knight the knockback is unfair.
That part actually only took me ~2 tries. Just sprint forwards, go up to the knight on the right and fight him there. Unless your build absolutely sucks at face to face combat, you should be good. I'm pretty sure there's a wall so the other knight can't hit you with his arrows.
Nevertheless it is fucking cheap.
Gosh, I get constantly invaded, I cannot keep my shit together. Also I suck at PvP.
That part was more annoying than hard, since if you died, you had to go through those electric spear demon shitbags.
Still trying to think of a strategy to suck humanity with the dark hand without being an ass/cheap. Anyone here using it?

I just dash through them :v: can't be arsed to kill them everytime.

Get your vit to 35, all pvp builds end at 125 now. It should help alot. Also replace the shitty monk robe with a sealer/witch robe for slightly better defense
The only thing that is niggling me with Dark Souls is there is still a huge mystery over the pendant gift. Some supposed secret that no one has found out about yet with it. Either that, or he's trolling us.

Bottom paragraph.
So Nito was a little bitch, I killed him second try.
And Seath was very easy to figure out, just run in circles etc.
But the 4 kings have had me stuck for months, any suggestions?

Summon people?
You can try lots of mobility to outrun attacks and catch up to the boss when necessary at the expense of resilience, or lots of heavy armor to avoid being knocked down at the expense of speed.
Your main enemy is wasted time, since another boss spawns every 30 seconds or so.
If you see a purple glow in one of the boss' hands and they move towards you, they're trying to grapple you. Run as fast as you can to avoid it, since the grapple does quite a bit of damage and wastes a lot of time.
The explosion attack is easy enough to read, but difficult to avoid or deal with. It does magic damage, so unless you have a shield with 100% magic resistance, you'll still get hit, and be knocked down. You can try to outrun the blast radius, but it takes up nearly as much time as blocking/getting knocked down, although without the health loss.

heavy armor w/ 54+ poise (76 is better)
fire (preferably) weapon or one you can swing for a while (longswords are cool ya)
dark hand offhand for blocking magic, otherwise twohand your weapon and just take the sword hits
abyss ring, havel ring
lots of grass
find where they spawn, run to them, hug them close, beat the shit out of them. getting hit by the hilt does negligible damage, you should be able to completely kill them before they do much damage to you. heal up, wait for the next one. repeat.
you can also probably tank a hit or two if you need to take an emergency estus chug so feel free to do so. also kindle the bonfire you start at (i always do the basin one by the elevator) so you start with 10 estus that helps a bunch
[editline]10th July 2012[/editline]
i've beaten them naked on my sl1 pyromancer pvp guy
chaos hand axe too strong
[editline]10th July 2012[/editline]
also that's a really fun pvp build
pure vitality, dex, and attunement
starting pyro gear, chaos +5 hand axe, wooden shield, billowing dragoncrest ring + rofap
spells and fuck you axes everywhere
Trying to get the gear of Ornstein but his second form is so powerful and kicking my ass.
Besides I get constantly invaded in front of the bossfight, in that great hall. It always takes some time to kill those annoying gigants, then I wait to summon some people. During that time some jerk arrives and backstabs me without even waiting. Sometimes they just stab me while fighting those 2 giants.
