I don't recommend buying on Steam especially if you're already a fan of the game, because you get a ton of free shit with the retail version.

I'm very unsure about the controls for PC, and whether or not my computer will be able to handle it.
I've tried to use the attachment that allows you to use an Xbox 360 controller with my PC, but it was unreliable and I have no idea where I put it.

I was able to beat the Taurus demon in a straight fight thanks to pyromancy, and now I've gotten as far as clearing out the bottom floor of the church in the Undead Parish before I had to retreat to Firelink to do something with the souls before I fucked up and lost them.

How do you beat the guy in the staircase of the church that parries attacks? Last time I tried he instantly parried my first attack and one-shotted me...

I just wait for him to attack first, or use an attack with a large range like the jumping heavy attack with large hammer type weapons.

I actually found an easier way to defeat Gwyn due to a rock on the right side as you enter that you can hide behind as he lunges at you.

I had to look that guy up 'cause I forgot who he was. Man, fuck that boss. I lost so many souls trying to kill him. I think I ended up berserking all over him or climbing up the stairs and doing jump-off attacks.

He's not really that difficult on his own, it's the fact that you have to fight him in a closet with dogs biting your dick off that makes him hard.

All thread about the pc edition of Dark Souls ends in a hatewar between pc and consoles, why can't everyone enjoy the fucking game.
