RIP in peace, bro.
He was a good pal. 60GB and didn't even complain when he met my old PS2 collection. You'll be missed.
I got my girlfriend Dark Souls. She immediately hated it because she doesn't like games with zombies in them. I tried explaining to her that they weren't zombies, and she just got mad at me. v:v:v

Don't tell her about blighttown though, Those things are fucking scary when they eat you.
So who wants to bet the first mod ever for the PC version will be naked Gwynevere (or however you spell it)?
So who wants to bet the first mod ever for the PC version will be naked Gwynevere (or however you spell it)?
It's Gwyndolin. :q: [editline]19th July 2012[/editline] Has anyone else read the Dark Souls page on Steam? The description reads like it was written by that one strategy guide company that gets basic game concepts entirely wrong.
Gwynevere is the lady with the giant breasts in Anor Londo.
Well [sp]she's actually an illusion created by Gwyndolin. The real Gwynevere left long ago apparently.[/sp]

Who would want a nude mod of Gwyndolin?

I wish that Dark Souls would have more patrolling enemies, it would make it far more interesting and challenging. It is a bit weird to see the enemies standing at certain points and only moving towards you once you got to a certain point. Initally they wanted the Black Knights to roam freely and attack you randomly, but they changed that. So now you can only find them guarding several areas.
It was a joke, actually. Hence the :q:. :( If only we still had all of those emotes.
Gravelording undead burg at SL10 is so much fun! If anyone sees me, I'm the guy with (almost) full bandit armor, gravelord sword and grass crest shield on the back.
Am I the only one who thinks it is kinda sad to see level 10-15 guys doing cartwheels and using fully upgraded weapons with lightning damage? Very rare to meet actual new players nowadays.
Am I the only one who thinks it is kinda sad to see level 10-15 guys doing cartwheels and using fully upgraded weapons with lightning damage? I just laggstab most of those people =S
Holy shit everyone needs to watch this right now
Holy FUCKING shit.

I wondered, Maybe Randomly Generated Dungeons would be a good thing for this game?

So after a 2 month break from my PS3 I decided to pop in dark souls and pick up where i left off!... Oh... ornstein and smough... maybe next month.
wow That trailer was fucking amazing. We need a DkS movie.
wow That trailer was fucking amazing. We need a DkS movie.
An hour and a half of some guy dying in comically gruesome circumstances.
That would be awesome. At the end he would be within an inch of finishing the game and he would be invaded and BSed by TROLLZORZLOL9FAG the dark spirit.
I wish it would be ported for 360, I would love to play that game. I just watched some LPs, looks awesome. Although the story and setting of Dark Souls seems more interesting.
The thing is that Sony owns the rights to the name Demon's Souls, so it will never be ported. That's why they called Dark Souls Dark Souls, and not Demon's Souls 2, or something like that.
Since the "sequel" is confirmed I wonder what systems they will change for the new souls game. I would like a broader upgrading path just for the experimentation.
I would like what has been mentioned before: Patrolling or random enemies. Oh and also damn clothing physics for players! I hate seeing those sexy coats n' stuff on enemies and when I wear their armor it doesn't move an inch.
Although the game is fun, it gets hurt by how its length depends almost entirely on you dying several times and having to grind the same group of enemies 100 times in order to progress. The fact that many enemies don't really have a purpose for being where they are doesn't help, either.

The only time I've ever grinded in this game was to get upgrade materials for weapons and armor. You don't need to be level 200 to get through the game. And which enemies are you talking about that don't need to be where they are?
