No point of saving his life, although he is a complete badass for learning how traversing the abyss.

so yeah i learnt the hard way that its not such a good idea to run into Quelaag's boss fight with nothing but her furry sword as a weapon, doing 15 damage a hit wasn't that fun

You can also save a witch at the first world, after the giant Tower Knight guy. You need a special hat though to get to her. It's one of those fat guy's hats. There's a little alleyway you can go through that will take you to her.

I had a chance to pick this game up yesterday and I am enjoying it immensely. Very difficult but not so much that I want to throw down the controller in frustration.

I absolutely cannot wait to play this game on the 24th. Been reading up on character creation and what not. Shame it comes out on PC the same day GW2 does and I have to decide what to play.

I think I mixed some times up between midnight and noon stuff or dropped a 1 somewhere. but whatever, they are both playable on the weekend and I have to divide my time up. I'm a huge sucker for hard games like this so 90% of the time ill be playing this instead of gw. So anyway to jolly co-operate through the whole game with a friend?

I've never tried it myself but I think the deal is that there are multiple servers which handle multiplayer matchmaking and there's no guarantee that you'll be connected to the one that your friend is on, and therefore their sign may not appear in your world where it is in theirs. I think I had heard that there were ways to reset the connection and get a random matchmaking server, but I don't know of any. Plus you'd have to re-summon your friend after every boss fight.

Could anyone here that's viewing this, has a 360 and is around Level 42 do me a solid and plop down your summon sign just before the first bridge in New Londo? I'm being raped by swarms of ghosts, thanks if you can.

It's fun after having played a primarily PvP invasion character to restart as a faith based sunbro and help people out wherever I can. I can't believe how many thank you messages I got after helping people out with the Capra Demon. I'm going to finish up the last couple of assists I need for great lightning spear helping with Quelaag. And all my other characters are above 90.
