Dark Souls (PC/PS3/360)v2 - Prepare to Die edition.

I just realized, for those of you going to the PC version with plans of PvPing new Dark Souls players, you best watch out for the imminent rape coming from the new content.

You may be able to power through most of the original content like you have on the Xbox, but with the new content, you're bound to get murdered by all kinds of monsters, beasts, and glitchy ledges.

Hopefully there will be some new "Special" section for all of us to moan and groan over, like Blighttown or the Anor Londo archers.

Gwyn stays dead and you respawn in the boss battle area. I picked up my souls which included the 70k from killing gwyn and kindled the bonfire ending the game.

am i the only person who didn't have a problem with the anor londo archers?

See early in the game I got the black knight greatsword, and with it I can kill knights in one hit(after a decent amount of powerleveling).

Invisible bridges that are filled with silver knights that shoot toxin wheel skeletons out of their bows, and you need a skull lantern to spot them.

I didn't have a problem first playthrough, because I was playing as a pyromancer and it was before the iron flesh nerf.

Subsequent playthroughs were more difficult and it takes me like two or three tries usually. I've found that the force miracle is pretty effective at just knocking those fuckers off the ledges though.

And you've killed Seath, Nito, The Four Kings and The Bed of Chaos, and put all their souls into the lordvessel?

You should have received a cut scene after that.

Now that I think about it, I think that I missed the Bed of Chaos. I guess I'll have to go back and check on how that bastard is doing. Of course, I don't remember how to get back to Lost Izalith, but I can just wander around for a bit.

There's three ways, all starting from the Chaos Covenant.

If you get rank 3 in the covenant, a shortcut will open for you in the Demon Ruins, just before the Firesage guy.
Right after the Firesage guy, there's some stairs you can go down that will lead you to the Centipede Demon, or you can go up the stairs and it'll take you to a shortcut back to the Chaos Covenant. You don't have to actually uses this shortcut to activate, but you do have to kill the Firesage Demon first.
The last way is to just go through all of the Demon Ruins.

For your level you'll probably want Homing Soulmass as soon as possible and really just the Soul Arrow spells. Great Magic weapon / Magic Weapon is something to consider too.

I would work up to Crystal Homing Soulmass, Crystal Magic weapon and the Soul Spear spells.

It's +2 for the Chaos Covenant which requires 30 humanity.

Yeah they have different uses, but nothing is really mandatory. If you want you can go look up what each soul can do before you use it. You can always get them again in NG+ if you want another thing that needs the soul.

The slightly annoying thing is that I'll be away for a few days when this comes out for PC. Which kinda sucks, but maybe i could be able to pick it up going home from my trip.

If not, i'll buy it on steam, or wait longer and get all that swag. Decision's Decisions...

For me it always happens when it [i]does[/i] work. I'd have to reload the game to get the estus flasks to spawn, too, as the NPC wouldn't be there.

I was considering doing it for my most recent character but decided against it for some reason.
