Dark Souls (PC/PS3/360)v2 - Prepare to Die edition. - Games

Ya, it's still not working. I open MJ click DXdefault ==> PS3 Go to driver tab click load driver go back to profile tab, click enable, do vibration test, open up controller panel. Everything works in MJ Open up Dark Souls, get jack shit. What am I doing wrong?

Ok what the hell My save has suddenly disappeared. I don't even have the option to load a game in the menu now. I did before, but now I don't. I just killed the Hydra so I could kill the Golden Crystal Golem to save Dusk. I quit out of my game to load it back up and now the option to load my game is gone. I loaded my game before, but now I can't. Seriously, what the hell

It's got that same stink about it.

Yep, just beat Taurus, I think I can handle keyboard controls.

Setting that patch above anything over 1024x720 makes the game crawl for me. Does it require an insanely beefy cpu?

I really hope they find a way to a) make the camera smoother and b) make a better way to bind control and then I would have no beefs with the port at all.

While I'm not sure, I think this is the save game location.

Yeah, there's a file there.

While I was playing the game, I changed my GFWL username and it started saving under that name instead of the previous one. But since the previous one was a random name I couldn't sign in to it. All I had to do was go into that folder, copy the previous save file and put it in my new account's folder.

I always like keeping backups of saves for big RPGs like this game, so that if it ever gets corrupted or deleted accidentally, I don't lose a few days of my life. Game runs like shit for me even though I exceed all of the system recommendations. I don't really want to have to buy a controller JUST FOR THIS GAME because the mouse/keyboard controls are ass. Yes I understand this is From Software's first time dabbling with PC and porting and stuff but jesus it's so schizophrenic. For some people it works perfectly fine, for others it doesn't even work at all! Framerate caps and 720p caps everywhere! It is a direct port, literally.

If the lag I'm experiencing now gets worse, I'm going to be a very, very unhappy camper. [sp]especially since i kind of bought two copies by mistake[/sp] But control wise? Get a controller. Really. You wouldn't be buying a controller "JUST FOR THIS GAME" because tons of games are better with them.

My fps are good and Xbox control seem to be working fine but the blurriness is kind of hurting my eyes, think I'll hold off playing till that patch is up and running with working text. Holy shit I suck at using parry, died 3 times trying to figure it out on that armored undead.

PC was certainly not a disappointment for me. The game runs way better than it did on my PS3. And I'm even playing with Mouse and keyboard, although the mouse feels a bit strange, but I can deal with it. I never managed to finish it once on PS3, so this works great for me. Not really a big fan of playing games on consoles, it just feels too different and strange to me. My only worry is to fight against the cheaters, although I never got invaded once on PS3, so even a cheater invading me would make me semi-happy. :v:

I'm using the resolution fix, none of the messages work and I had to go through the Undead asylum guessing the controls. Looks pretty good though, runs well and after turning off the AA and motion blur it's only mildly annoying to have the fps locked. Also beat the Asylum Demon first try, never played the game before. I think I'll do ok.

i wonder if the connection is better on pc because my ps3 has shit connection and lagstabs are the worst
