Psh. Riposte Havel all the way.
Are anyone else experiencing severe problems with online? I can't get invaded, nor summoned, apparently
Alright I'm probably missing something stupid but is there any way to get rid of the borders? Like even with the resolution patch on and the game set to fullscreen and my native resolution there are still these big black widescreen-like borders on the top and bottom of my screen. Launching the game in forced fullscreen mode from the mod ini doesn't seem to work properly either (Flickering video, etc.).
I had those bars too, but that was before I remembered to change the resolution in the game. Are you sure you set the ingame res and not just the res patch res?

How do you drop items
Sanctuary guardian.. jesus fuck how do i what theres no room to attack WHY
Use a shield with alot lightning resistance AND DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING LOWER IT
How do you drop items
Select an item from your inventory, and select "drop"
Use a shield with alot lightning resistance AND DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING LOWER IT
Said fuck it and went to pick up gravelord sword, put on havels armor and fuckED SHIT UP
Rang second bell, went back to firelink and the keeper is dead, and the fire has gone out. am i fucked?
Rang second bell, went back to firelink and the keeper is dead, and the fire has gone out. am i fucked?
No, that always happens if you don't kill Lautrec. (The dude in the fancy golden armor that was trapped in Undead Parish.) You'll get a chance to kill him later on in Anor Londo. After the fight, you get the firekeeper's soul back and you can bring her back to life, which restores the bonfire.
Rang second bell, went back to firelink and the keeper is dead, and the fire has gone out. am i fucked?
You examined the body, right? Take the stone with you. You'll know what to do when the time comes. [editline]24th August 2012[/editline] I am late.
[sp]She also gets her tongue back which is pimpin so she can suck you off as a reward and talk i guess if you're into that[/sp]
Working on a Dex/Fth build... I can't decide what weapons I want. I'm thinking I want a plain old +15 weapon for buffing purposes, but I'm also planning to make a Divine weapon. (Can you buff Divine weapons? Can't remember.) Also I'll probably forge Quelaag's Furysword because it's boss as fuck.
I remember being told about him on ps3 version, but when i used first firekeeper thing (from behind tower knight) golden dude wasnt there. havent seen him ingame either
Well before you kill the Gargoyles, he's locked up somewhere in the church. You can free him and get a small reward, or else he just gets out himself. Then he hangs around sitting in front of the Firekeeper's cage, though he's not always there... he comes and goes. After you ring the Second Bell of Awakening, well, you know what happens. So it's possible you were just never around when he was.
So where to after quelaag? id like to get my firekeeper back, but that means sens fortress and anor londo, but im not sure if i should be going there. havent done darkroot yet either
Not killed Sif? Go kill Sif since you'll be going back there anyway.
I just killed the gaping dragon on my first try. I have never played DS before, nor did I use Solair or Lautrec and I'm using a keyboard. Shits fun.
That place can be a surprise to new people, you only see like 2 guys and then a firebomb comes crashing down on you, the new players get stunned and the two guys down below finish them off. They'll learn eventually that this isn't your regular RPG/Hack'n'slash. [editline]24th August 2012[/editline] Also how's the skelly graveyard doing? I suspect even more bloodstain. That place is hell when you're new, completely catches you by surprise. "Oh shit 2 skeletons" "Oh this isn't so bad a single hard hit and he's dowOHGOD HE'S COMING BACK UP" "OH GOD THEY KEEP COMING" You Died
I remember when I first started playing, that's exactly what happened. I didn't see the correct path so I kept running to my death, but I eventually got that sword from the giant skeleton. It wasn't a complete waste of time
Thanks for the advanced warning guys, I was able to RUN THE FUCK through the graveyard outside firelink and stay away from the skellies. I probably would have died like 20 times thinking I had to kill them
killed sif. i wanna join the gravelords but after running past loads of skeletons the little ledge im meant to jump onto is covered in spikes, so i fall and die., what am i doing wrong? :D also sens fortress is a horrible horrible place :< [editline]25th August 2012[/editline]
I just killed the gaping dragon on my first try. The music that plays when you fight [Sp]Lord Gywn[/SP] is amazing.
I need some leveling advice guys. I'll probably go for more of a 1handed warrior-mage I prefer quick hitting weapons as opposed to slow ones & I'll be joining the Warriors of Sunlight to get those sick miracles aha So what stats should I level? Attack & Int?
So ash lake has nothing to do with it then then I'll have to kill novangel
oops
This games needs to have more bosses like Fatty and Stabby.
Yes! Got past the archers on my first try. I was pretty close to dying, so I'm pretty pumped right now.
Yes! Got past the archers on my first try. I was pretty close to dying, so I'm pretty pumped right now.
Then you die and can never get past them again. Or at least not before you die five or six times
So now that I'm playing with headphones a lot I've realized a horrifying truth. You can hear the capra demon breathing through the fog door. Makes waiting for a summon rather tense.
Anyone else had trouble with summons, by the way? 4 times out of 5, I get a "Summon Failed" message when I try to summon a phantom.
How do you do the falling attack with a xbox controller? Trying to kill the demon in undead burg but i can never pull it off
