Dark Souls (PC/PS3/360)v2 - Prepare to Die edition.

I bought this as well as an Xbox 360 controller for my PC, hopefully they both arrive soon.
I'm glad that this has been ported over, it was just about the only console exclusive that I would have liked to play. It's good to see it getting a mostly positive response here, other forums are very negative about the quality of the port after they spent so long demanding it be made.

I knew what I was getting myself into when I payed for it. The only thing I've been complaining about so far is myself dying and the fact that it's almost impossible to summon two phantoms to help me.

I will, though I have to go back and save [sp]Dusk[/sp] and get the [sp]broken pendant[/sp].

Not really. I already killed the hydra and finished Dukes Archives, I just couldn't be bothered to reload my game to make the crystal monster spawn so I didn't get the [sp]broken pendent[/sp]. 15 minutes tops.

On gamepad it's the same button as to 2 hand something. Try that.

Gaping dragon? Piss easy, killed him on first try. Didn't even summon Solaire (couldn't find his summon sign)
Blighttown? Didn't die once. Didn't even activate any bonfires, so i could homeward-bone to a more pleasant place after rapng spider lady.

[sp]Lord Gwyn[/sp] has got to be one of the best boss battles I have ever played, everything fit [i]perfectly[/i], the music, the atmosphere, his AI - EVERYTHING. Took me fucking 20 minutes of nonstop fighting to finally down him but it was so worth it.

I've never felt this good after a boss fight, my controler is dripping fucking sweat

Now to start a new character on the PC (beat it on the ps3 first), what do you guys suggest trying first, a sorcerer, pyromancer or a faith build? I just kinda leveled my endurance to wear armor and then used a lightning claymore through most of the game and wanna try something new
