What's a good one handed weapon for someone in their 40's? I just got to sens fortress and this Iaito I picked up a while ago ain't cutting it.

Is there level scaling or some reason not to level up other than for PvP? I've got a fuckton of souls and the mechanical boar is a pain in the ass.

How are ultra greatswords in PvP? Mainly the Black Knight Greatsword and the Demon Great Machete.

The BKGS and Demon machete in particular don't have very good R2 moves, but they're still solid, viable weapons. Ultimately, it's worth a try. The few times I've used them against invaders, I would get a hit or two in, they'd run, and I'd flatten them with sprinting attacks as they tried to do so.

Currently using Astora's Straight Sword and Elite Knight Armor, still not really sure which way I want to go with a build. I really like the astora sword and its moveset, but the C scaling is off putting. :(

Get beneath him, slice at the legs. Just stay close and he can't hit you

Nevermind [editline]26th August 2012[/editline] Also, that's not always true. If you try to close the distance 100 percent of the time he'll hit you with that double-spin-attack bullshit and you'll die even with a shield up.

I think I'm actually getting used to the keyboard controls. There's not really much in the way of quick combo-ing or anything, so my only real issue is the crazy mouse movement during lockon.

I know I certainly can't be the only one doing that dueling thing. It seems that I can't find anyone to join me and it's not summoning me to anyone else.

I did not realize how damn easy it is to mod saves for Xbox version of this game. My friend showed me how and he made a crazy dark wraith character that raped so many innocent players. As a warning, if you see any Dark Wraiths that barely block and seem not to get injured, run and disconnect quickly. XBox only though.

XBox only though.[/QUOTE] USB save, Mod on the computer with either hex editing or a program to give you items (Forgot the programs name) Easy....also you can do it on the playstation aswell but you have to take out a laptop hdd out of it, Which is more of a task than a simple usb.

Yea, the Hydra is easy, all you need to do is get close enough for them to try to bite. The worse thing that can happen is when you fall into the water.
