I'm level 89 right now at the Duke's Archives, but that's because me and a friend are co-oping through the game, we get lots more souls.

DUnno if the site is trustable or not, so I suggest doing it through paypal, so you can reverse the payment if they don't come through.
Picked it up from there with no issues, started playing the game blind.
I regret everything.
Ever.
Suddenly, I'm having a hard time invading people in Sen's Fortress...
I'm about level 28 or 29, just reached Blighttown. Am I on track with most people or a little under? I'm being careful leveling this time, cause on the 360 I think I way overlevelled and ended up being like mid 60's in Anor Londo, so I couldn't really do coop.

I was 45 in blighttown and there were loads of summons
Not only is a +5 Quelaag's Furysword good for killing people in Sen's Fortress, it's also good for helping them too!
Except when they think it's a good idea for them to rush forward first.
Was just walking through the Depths when I get a pop up that says something like "The Spirit of Black knight Kent has invaded".
Then some spiky red knight thing came barreling down the corridor towards me and raped my shit and the collective shits of everything in the depths. After I respawned everything had turned into a bunch of spiky statues. And with that I learned to never turn human until I leveled up more.
Knight Kirk, I know him well.
He's an NPC like Mildred

Spiky statues are from basilisks
Knight Kirk invades you 3 times, theres a few other black phantoms too, one in tomb of giants, one in blight town and one in painted world that i know of
Once down in the Demons ruin
...
Wow, just realized what I was doing wrong in setting up my controller. I played 45 hours with those awful controls. GAH.

is it an NPC? he was making me rage like two hours ago because he's invincible and he keeps appearing

Knight Kirk is an NPC
I killed him not 2 hours ago, in 2 backs stabs.
You might be being invaded by someone in his suit with his name, who is cheating

IIRC if you beat him all three times you can buy his set of armor from a merchant somewhere.
i really don't think so. how would someone get a GFWL name as simple as "Kirk?" that's too good to be true. i'm pretty sure it's just an NPC but still, that's dumb. why does he have to be an invader? it's so confusing

He drops a piece every time you kill him
The Armor merchant is under the bridge at Firelink, the first one you see. Jump after the knight and onto the bottom, walk to the far side and he's sitting there, after Fatty and Stabby

No, you pick them up in the room where you can join the chaos servants.

Because he's a dickwraith, that's his job.

Welcome to Dark Souls. It gets worse.
Just to ask, what was everyone's first character's level at the end of their first game?
I ended my first game at level 150ish.

Around 97. I spent a lot of time grinding for titanite.
Took some screenshots!

Well, the NPC Kirk is named "Knight Kirk" not just "Kirk", so you were invaded by a hacker.

Red light? Wasn't it originally orange?
I think he edited them
Where's the Amazing chest ahead in 2550x1440 or something?

Hm, so I should level a bit? Still not really sure what build I'm going for. :(

I can now uninstall the game (not img tagged because might be spoilerish I guess).
I think mine was in the 90's; I primarily used soul spears and an enchanted rapier.
I grew impatient trying to get the Sanctuary Guardians tail, so I killed it, and now I regret it. I had so much trouble with the damn thing, then I realized that I was using the wrong weapon. I spent a few thousand souls upgrading my silver knight sword because my +3 Quelaag's Fury sword did little damage. Disappointing.
