Ok this is the first time this game really fucking pissed me off, it doesnt even feel fair. Im at Anor londo and im going to the chapel, now the front doors locked and 2 sentinels there, killed them, then I go right and run to that narrow bridge while the 3 gargoyals just fall off, then run past the other 2 onto the narrow bridge going up to the side. Now heres when it gets bullshit, 2 black knights(i think) are shooting arrows the size of fucking spears from a bow and arrow the size of a car. Even in the stone armor set+Wolf ring+a great shield 1 shot knocks me so far I usually just fall off. So I try to get the guy on the right, but then the asshole behind me just hits me and I get knocked around so much I get stun locked and just fall off and die. What the fuck do I do here, bow and arrow/crossbow are out of the question, I went STR so my bow does nothing and I have a shitty short bow and no magic spears or anything.
It's pretty cheap, but if you have a Ring of Fog you can get close enough to poison arrow those fuckers and just watch them die.
Fuck the carpa demon how do I beat that, the second I enter the room he knocks me down then kills me as I'm halfway through the getting up animation. Thats the 3rd time now.
Hey I killed the queen first time :D
Playing Dark Souls on PS3. Some guy just invaded me, dropped a bunch of weapons for me, and left :v:
what the fuck, every time I launch the game it's a big window. so I click inside to enter the key and it freezes.
Anyone? I tried reinstalling to no avail.
I'm having a lot of fun playing as a thief, using the dagger for the bosses is challenging because of it's short range. But backstabs for everyone.
Hey I killed the queen first time :D
She's not that hard, I only died once because I didn't expect the range on her sword stab to be so long.

Roll past him, run up stairs, and keep him away from you if your character isn't very strong. Also, deal with the dogs first, bleeding damage is bad.
Yesterday I buy the game and start playing with no background knowledge. Today I successfully kill those fucking gargoyles and that fucker next to the blacksmith. God damn I'm having fun.
8 summon signs outside the capra demon door and all failed. God damn how does coop in this game work.
Thank god I found out about Darkroot Garden farming, makes my life so much easier. Also, fuck Sen's Fortress, these serpents are tough.
To the one person whos summon worked and helped my beat the boss I've been stuck on for the past 2 hours. I could kiss you you magnificent boar headed bastard, whoever you may be.
Ya this thing looks safe. Lets see what it feels like. [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/558699179633728004/02F7CD57539D7EB8990CB06168CE90781C15C79B/[/t]
[del]Onion[/del]Catarina Set looks incredibly stupid. I love it. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline] Sen's Fortress wasn't that bad. I only died twice to the swinging blades, once to a boulder that pushed me into the abyss, and once to me falling down some stairs.
Man, I just love fighting Taurus in NG+, it's so satisfying. I used sunlight blade and dropped onto him just for kicks, took out 2/3 of his health just from that.
I can't parry :-(
Dear Capra Demon thing: Fuck you.
Oh cool Blighttown lets see if its as bad as everyone says. Oh I just lost 12,000 souls and 5 humanity. Ok I think I'm done with this game for a week.

Shit sucks.
120,000 souls and 8 humanities by the Anor Londo archer fuckers ;_;
300K and 16 Humanity All because I turned away and walked off an edge
I managed to lose 17,000 souls and 13 humanity to that damn capra demon thing. Ended up slipping up and dying on another run back to him. Shit sucks.
I was lucky and summoned some really high level guy who basically solo'd the demon while I fought a heroic battle with a dog. I don't think I ever would have beaten that thing solo.

Ok I think I'm done with this game for a week.
I lost some small amount of souls and 11 humanity because I died to the Moonlight Butterfly and then died on my way there. I think that was when I threw my controller on the floor, not sure. Blighttown isn't that bad. Get the Shadow armor set in there and the spider shield in the Depths, gives you pretty good poison/toxic resistance. I had the most trouble going up the Valley of Drakes, which I found out I didn't even have to do...

Mainly using the Gargoyle halberd.
I'm on the fence about buying this on the PC. My old Logitech controller stopped working, and I was wondering if the controls are bearable with mouse and keyboard.
I'm on the fence about buying this on the PC. My old Logitech controller stopped working, and I was wondering if the controls are bearable with mouse and keyboard.
Just buy a corded Xbox controller, they're pretty cheap.
I can't parry :-(
I used to be godawful at it, it's just a matter of getting used to it. Find an enemy you can safely practice with and it'll probably help out a lot. The most useful advice I've ever heard for parrying would be to parry the moment you hear the sound of the weapon being swung at you, or to parry the moment the weapon's swing is actually coming at you. I think this is the video that actually made it "click" with me.
The thing that made parrying make sense to me is when I heard that you should aim to parry the moment the enemy's swing connects with you. I was always trying to hit the enemy's sword with my shield or something like that before and it didn't work often enough for me to consider parrying a decent strategy at all.
anyone else get like 15 fps when they see particles from fires or white fog or anything? annoying as dicks.
A moment of silence with me please. I accidentally hit Solaire at the Anor Londo bonefire and had no choice but to kill him. SORRY SUNBRO I WILL UPGRADE YOUR SWORD TILL +10 FIRE
