Dark Souls (PC/PS3/360)v2 - Prepare to Die edition. - Games

So if a weapon shows 177 damage for physical and 177 for lightning, does that mean it should be doing 354 damage? I have the lightning spear found in sens fortress upgraded a little bit but it's only doing about 60 damage per hit on everything.

That shit should be hitting for way more, are your stats able to wield it?(its not that much anyways, very low) I think it is 354 damage BUT it gets reduced because of armor/physical protection and lightning protection

I've tried it on the snake heads in sens, the giants in anor londo, some creatures in the depths, and regular zombies but it just seems to not do anything significant.

So is anyone else here currently playing Demon's Souls? I just read about a sword I want to get, but I've messed up on my current playthrough. I need the Red Hot Demon's Soul to upgrade weapons into unique weapons, and I already used it thinking I wouldn't ever get a unique weapon because I was doing fine with my Crescent Estoc. The weapon I want is the Large Sword of Searching which doubles your Item Drop rate.

I am. What level are you? I've got one and I was about to prune my character because of some misallocated levels. I'm past 120 but I don't recall my exact level.

This makes no sense. I have a silver knight sword +4 that does 245 physical and I have an Iaito lightning +5 that does 220 physical and 220 lightning damage. I tried both of these weapons on several different enemies, using both weapons two handed, and the Iaito is about 40% weaker every time. Is every enemy in the game just resistant to lightning?

And it doesn't seem like I'll be able to get that Pure Darkmoonstone I need either to upgrade my +4 Crescent Estoc to +5... Crystal Lizard spawning is BS and there's no other way to get this item.

Go down to: [DisplaySettingWindow] and change the Width and Height.

Once for the regular damage and once for the elemental effect. That's probably what's going on.

Man, even my shitty now-low-end rig gets a nice ~30fps in Blighttown, I like that. :v:

Alright, having a lot of fun with this. Any way to make the game run faster? It hurts my eyes after a while. Using DSfix, texture scaling at ~1152x768, AA and motion blur turned off.

Seriously? I'm level 24 and not only did I go from Firelink and beat the Capra Demon on my first try, I managed to get through the Depths up to the Giant Rat without dying straight afterwards.

Is the merchant beneath the bridge in crystal armour/shield important? Because I pressed the wrong button and attacked him and he hit me doing lots of damage so in my panic I rolled at him and kinda kicked him off the edge of the bridge ..

Just had to make sure I regen my stamina every time by lowering my shield.
