Level 60. Started anor londo, had way to much trouble. Playing as a thief sucks sometimes.
Beat Capra Demon, went to depths, got cursed, killed Gaping Dragon, went to Blighttown while still cursed like a moron. I hate Blighttown and I hate curses. Fuck my life. :v:

[editline]3rd September 2012[/editline] Oh and I very much advise taking the shortcut into Blighttown. Lets you skip almost the entire area. Went down to Ash Lake for the first time SINCE WHEN CAN HYDRAS FUCKING FLY
all of them, I have 10 vitality lol. Pretty much 1 hit and im gone, and I dont dish out enough damage fast enough. If im SL 19, and I place a summon sign, can I be summoned by anyone higher? I think im going to need help on this one.
This video kind of helped me get used to the timing of their attacks: Any fully upgraded melee weapon should be fine, but you should have an easier/faster time with great combustion and combustion, while wearing a bellowing dragoncrest ring and dusk crown. The thing with the dusk crown though is that their magic will hit you harder, but as long as you can block it, it'll be worth wearing.
The worst part of the Four Kings fight is the lack of depth.

But the second I get close those asshole kings just destroy me in one hit. I think I fucked up on my build and the only way I would take them down is if I just try and level normally and grind for better gear and more levels.

So am I going to regret killing Marvellous Chester? He kind of seemed fishy, and I hear he invades you later. Plus I wanted his armor. And he wasn't selling anything I couldn't already get elsewhere, cheaper.
When I set my resolution lower than my native (1600x900), there are these huuuuuge black bars. Anyone know how to make the image stretch out to fit my screen instead of being all terrible and bad?
Anyone know the answer to this?
Is there a fix for killing ingward and not getting the key yet? Want to kill him for it since I am having WAY to much trouble in anor londo at sl 60 thief. Dying no matter what at those 2 imps that ambush you before going up the ramp for the 2 snipers.

Running past enemies is (and I'm being serious here) the most universally reliable tactic in this game. Excepting bosses (of course), basically everything can be outrun. [editline]3rd September 2012[/editline] And besides, you NEED to get the Lordvessel eventually if you want to beat the game.
The worst part of the Four Kings fight is the lack of depth.
The fight actually made me feel a little dizzy, imagine if all the four kings were different sizes, that'd break me, I think.

It's broken in PDE. And I know I need the lordvessel but I can get it later, right now I just want to open the floodgates.
Yeah, I know it's broken... so... why not go get the Lordvessel and get the key from Ingward the non-violent way?
Because like I explained, my character is way underpowered for anor londo, even at sl 60.
Because like I explained, my character is way underpowered for anor londo, even at sl 60.
What weapon are you using?
I'm level 63, doing New Londo, and I'm still using the black knight sword (+5, of course) I got from the guy in Undead Burg. Getting pretty tired of it. I don't know what else to use though. There's the greatsword of Artorias, but I don't have 20 int/faith. There's the obsidian greatsword, which looks great, but I'm pretty sure I could never cut off Kalameet's tail.

I recently learned that 27 Strength is a good level to stop at if you 2h your weapons a lot, as you don't see as much of an increase in damage at levels past it. It still helps though if you 1h a lot, though, as well as giving you a bigger selection of weapons.
Is there anyway to bypass gfwl? I tried using it and it apparently is set on the fact that I'm not connected to the internet, even when I am. Also is there save editor? I've beaten the game multiple times on ps3 and I really just want a good ol armor of the glorious.
I dont know what your STR is at, but I used Black Knight Sword and destroyed anor londo at 60.
Yeah, so did I, but I'm getting pretty tired of using it. I've been using it for like 80% of the game. The reason I haven't used anything else is because it's just better than everything. It's a great weapon - I can two-hit the Royal Sentinels in Anor, I just want to use something that's different and better, but there isn't much.
i landed myself in to anor londo and have saved at the knightess' bonfire, but is there a way to get back to sen's fortress or wherever? or am i stuck here until later on down the road? i really have no reason to go back but i'm just curious

There are only a few incredibly high-damage weapons in the game, so you're not going to find much better in terms of pure numbers. However, you have to judge moveset and speed as well. For example I've been rolling +15 Uchigatana and +15 Balder Side Sword, both of which are only around 220 damage, but both of which have A or S rank Dex scaling, and have excellent, fast movesets.
I still want to know if chaos weapons were nerfed. All I've been told was that elemental weapons were nerfed which is vague as shit, and I've been given one example of a maxed lightning spear which gives 44 less ar than it used to have. Has anyone got one and can share with me the details of it? I'm hoping they didn't nerf them because it'd be perfect. They were weaker than fire and lightning already, even with max humanity. They'll finally have a use if they weren't nerfed.
just did an enormous ragequit in the painted world having homeworld boned out of the last fight twice trying to get the right tools for the job, getting furious because the xbox 360 dpad is the biggest pile of wank ever invented, fire goes out because someone is invading, leading to me sitting around waiting for this fuck to turn up. never does alt-f4 [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] seriously xbox 360 dpad makes me want to murder how do you fuck up a dpad
ok so seriously fucking invasions how do they work i've only managed to invade three people. one was laggy as fuck, one was cheating, and one was actually a reasonable fight. (i ended up invading that third guy three times, lost twice and tied once.) [editline]3rd September 2012[/editline] where do i invade people as a blade of the darkmoon i mean you think anor londo would be a hotspot but nope i've tried undead burg, undead parish, sen's fortress, the royal woods, darkroot forest, the tomb of giants, etc etc "failed to invade" forward your fucking ports people, GFWL tells me NAT is open on my end so it's not my fault at least
How do you get past the big dragon before artorias? He can kill you in one hit no matter what.
