Yes :( I wish i persevered on my first playthrough and killed smough first because now on NG+ it's not happening >.<
Wait, so if I have the lightning spear from O&S, then who should I kill first in NG+? I had some people help me and it went so fast I dont remember what happened.
What weapon do I want to be getting with most of my level points being put into keeping Dexterity and Strength equal? I'm using a Longsword +10 at the minute.

Kill Ornstein first
After watching a speed run, I started a new character and I'm already to Sen's Fortress. Kept dying there, so I went off to explore Blighttown. The lizards are just fucking retarded when they gang up on you, I kept falling to a lower level of the ghetto structure. Then, finally they fell on top of me and knocked me to my demise. This is my farthest character so far, but I still haven't been able to defeat the Capra Demon, It's rage inducing.
"Oh you wanna block this attack? How about no."
You can block Capra Demon's attacks if you have the endurance and poise for it.
I read a ton of tips on the Capra Demon and a lot of things said to stay at the top of the stairs and it'll buy you some time to kill the dogs, which is true. But none of them mentioned you're almost completely safe (especially if you can block the attacks) if you walk along the small ledge at the top of the stairs. From there you can use whatever ranged attacks you got to take it out or at least hurt it enough to make the melee fight easier.
Ok, so pvping in the painted world around SL120. Invaded a dude and saw that he had just summoned in a black phantom himself. I think to myself: "Well, I'll head up there and let them duke it out and if the host wins I'll give him time to heal and then fight him myself. Well I get up there and find them just standing together, not fighting or anything, and then they start running at me. So I'm like "Ooooohhhh no this is not happening they are not doing this." And then launched into attack. I hit the phantom with a crystal soul spear and he goes running down the hill presumably to cast the magic barrier miracle or use a humanity or something, so I go chasing after him, the host is chasing me, I get to the bottom and backstab the phantom, killing him. I then turn to the host and smash him with spells until he dies. No ganker is safe from me!
WAHAHAHHA
I actually dont mind the fact that there are asshole SL1 dickwraiths ruining my early experience, they just make it all so sweet when you finally start to win
and now that I have full silver knight armor and this black knight sword +5 which i ADORE i kick invaders asses, feels good to actually fight and kick ass.
I had a laugh at this.

Then he does his unblockable jump attack from the stairs and half your HP is gone
Oh shit, He's real.

I am the Primordial Serpent the Descended needs
So any common places where I can put down a Red Soapstone? The Forest Hunters suck, cant get into Darkwarith now and and I cant be bothered to go get the Anor Londo one and I wouldn't mind some PvP
I'd imagine the Painted World would be a good spot.
Didn't realise I could go back there, bridge battles would be fucking awesome unless people start using Force/WoTG
pvp is fun, especially when it's your first time in 3-1 on demon's souls and the only thing you brought was a DBS.
:suicide:
Not played dark souls in awhile. PVP matured now?
no

Unless you're at the Kiln

Best place to farm souls, Ariamis. Run through the door to the phalanx enemies, spam WoTG until dead, run back to bonfire. Fuckyes.
Anyone on PS3 up for some PvP or something, I have a red soapstone and am around SL60 currently at Anal Londo
[editline]25th February 2012[/editline]
Nevermind, but if anyone wants to play tomorrow lets do some shit.
Okay, so I defeated the Bell Gargoyles, ringed the Bell of Awakening, found the blacksmith and the STILL CLOSED STILL CLOSED MHMM Catarina guy, and the forest soulfarming spot. I've leveled to about 38 or something.
What do. I have the Drake Sword, full Chain armor and a Knight Shield.
Are there any more things to replay or discover before advancing or can I just suicide run the forest without any inky dinky ghost fighting shit?

You have Blighttown / the Depths to go through as well as the forest. You should start thinking about a new weapon too, the Drake sword will start being less useful here on.

[editline]25th February 2012[/editline]

Easily dodged by rolling out of the way because he gives you plenty of notice before doing it.

Except theres nowhere to roll if you're on that ledge :v:

Roll down and sprint around him and up the stairs while he recovers from that attack. ;) At least that's what I done.
