Beat O&S first try, then you are.
As long as you can keep oreo behind smores then hump oreos leg in the 2nd phase the fights not too hard.
I beat Capra Demon on my first try, am I cool yet
Just like Dark Souls.
Well, got my Zweihander +3 and it's pretty damned sweet.
why the FUCK is the tomb of giants so fucking dark, why are there MASSIVE arrows flying at me out of fucking nowhere and why are the giant skeletons so fucking tough they don't even have muscles or anything and if they don't gang up on me and rape me they just kick me into a fucking death pit instead
i went ant got me some cast light spell
Get the sunlight maggot headpiece from the Lost Izalith if you can, that way you don't need to give up the shield for the light. [editline]8th September 2012[/editline] Also this damn black halberd cuts down everything in a single swing. Too bad it's not possible to ascend/enchant it.
The skele dogs are the worst bit about tomb of the giants. Apart from throwing fireballs at them I've not found a solid way to fight those things.
They aren't that hard. Keep your distance, circle them and wait for them to throw themselves forwards slashing blindly, then attack. Rinse and repeat. You can also attack them head on, parry their clawing attack then strike, repeat and dodge out of the way when they go berserk. [editline]8th September 2012[/editline] Also is it just me, or are they way too many great weapons as rewards? Seems there are very few small to normal sized weapons you acquire from a boss' soul or cutting off its tail.

Oh god, those skele-dogs... Those things fucking hurt, even in heavy armor.
My new challenge run is not so challenging as I assumed, although I am still quite early in the game. I decided not to level up at all, I picked the knight and it is relavtivly easy. Because I can still upgrade and such. Perhaps I am going to restart as a pyromancer because he starts at SL1 with even lower stats. Perhaps I am also going to keep the starting gear for the entire game. That would make it a lot more interesting. Although I am afraid of the 4 Kings.
Oh god, those skele-dogs... Then I actually got hit by their attack. Suddenly, 90% of my health was gone...

If you want a real challenge go thief, cleric or hunter in order of difficulty.
Also is it just me, or are they way too many great weapons as rewards? Thinking in DS universe terms, I'd still rather move quickly and avoid enemy attacks than attack slowly and try to tank the attacks.

Thinking in DS universe terms, I'd still rather move quickly and avoid enemy attacks than attack slowly and try to tank the attacks.
I enjoy speed and dexterity in most games, but in DaS I just feel this need to be the best tank there ever was and use a huge-ass weapon. Not that using a huge-ass weapon and going fast are mutually exclusive.
I hate skeletons and hollows, since they follow you forever.
Not that using a huge-ass weapon and going fast are mutually exclusive.
Only in japan they aren't.
Was I the only one that gave Artorias's soul to Ciaran? Everyone suggests just killing her because you get the Tracers and her armor anyways, but I'd feel like such a dick killing a grieving lover.
Only in japan they aren't.
I dunno, going naked and wielding a greatsword seems to work great in M&B
OH GOD I WENT TO DARKROOT BASIN AND THERES A HUGE SERPENT THING OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK
Once you get past its ranged water attack, it's easy-peasy.
OH GOD I WENT TO DARKROOT BASIN AND THERES A HUGE SERPENT THING OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK
If you fight it, be careful of how far out into the water you can go before falling. On my first attempt, I died trying to hit the last head.
Get some magic or arrows for the last head, it can be a nuisance to get that down. At close range one or two heads are not even a threat anymore.
OH GOD I WENT TO DARKROOT BASIN AND THERES A HUGE SERPENT THING OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK
Theres a tower nearby the Hydra, go in there and find the friendly knight Havel he'll help you.
I would like, with you, to share some of my Dark Souls experience. Oh my god the hit detection on Smough's charge attack is the most broken thing ever.
