I put my controller down and went to take a piss - I'm in Anor Londo. Came back, sat down, accidentally clicked. Even though I was facing the opposite direction I somehow swung my Zweihander in a complete 360 (no, not really) to hit Solaire. I tried to run, he died to a Black Knight. Now I'm fucked for Smough and Ornstein. Time to abandon this run. Goodbye SLVL 64, I hardly knew ye.
i've beaten this shit without ever summoning anyone pussy
I'm glad that works for you but not all of us can be some amazing master of dodging shit while doing a first playthrough. If anything I used Solaire to distract bosses while I healed.
Just fought Sif and got him to that last tiny bit of health, I feel so terrible for doing this now.

His summon sign should have returned. It's what I did when I dragged Lautrec and Solaire out to the Wyvern bridge. They died so many times for me.

I appreciate the advice though [sp] since you aren't being a massive cock about it and are being an actual helpful person [/sp]

Put on his armor and claim his place, changing your gamertag to Knight Solaire
This guys combo move is ridiculous. He just keeps spamming it. [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/560952426266317524/F5C499691A4C209F21B3BCD187F4FA6C59448410/[/t]
Goddamit. I'm SL 33 or something with a Zweihander +10 so I figured I'd help some people out with the Capra Demon. The first guy was fine, he aggroed it while I took chunks out of its ass. The second wasn't wearing any armour at all, had a shitty curved sword and tried didn't wait for a second person to be properly summoned before entering the boss. I walked in as soon as I could only to see the Capra Demon and all his dogs wailing on them at the bottom of the stairs. They died before I could even get a hit in. How do people get that far and still be so retarded?
I did it! Finally got into the Sunbros, and saved Solaire. The 30 humanity I had to give away was worth it. I would do anything for the original Sunbro.

Tons better than Solaire. in Ability, not pure awesomeness though. But, if you're on PC, and have the DSfix with backups on, you could use a backup. I also, tried to get a gamertag with a knight from the game so I could confuse players and shit, but all the good ones have been taken by people who don't even play Dark Souls.
Oh my god the hit detection on Smough's charge attack is the most broken thing ever.
Honestly, and I know people are gonna shit all over me for this, but that entire boss fight is cheap as fuck and not fun at all. AT ALL. It makes me wanna just snap the disk in half and never play the damn game again. I've been stuck on the fight since the games original release, yeah, haven't even beat the game once. Fuck that boss fight. I've done every other boss solo, but that one for me is so far impossible. Like nearly every single other boss fight is one-on-one and then they throw this one in where you fight two dudes at the same time whose attacks can take off most of your HP with one hit. Add in the fact that they always stand so close to each other that when you go to attack one guy the other one tears your ass off. IMO it would have been better, if easier, if one dude attacked you while the other guy sat on the sidelines watching and then when the dude you're fighting dies he gets all pissed off and hulks up.
The battle is more then possible if you properly use the pillars to your advantage. The moment you kill ornstein is the moment you win smough is rather easy to dodge and he only has one move that can instantly kill you. If you can't beat them using just 10 flasks and a +10 weapon just go back dark souls is not linear. there are 3 major buffs you could get the large ember the large fire or chaos ember and you can kill pinwheel to unlock kindling. If you do all that and you still cannot kill them then you just need to hone your skills.
Nearly every invader or summoner has always messaged me after a boss or a duel saying "gg was fun" or "thanks for the help". This is by far the friendliest community I've ever seen.
I either get friendly guys that bow before attacking and have at least decent sportsmanship, or I get the guy with micropenis that invades SL 5s with his P2W NOSCURBBZ build, who then can get mad as hell if you cross a fog gate (sending them away) or make them fall down a pit.

O&S, for me at least, brings out the worst the game has to offer. If you get knocked down there's a good chance one of the two will hit you the exact frame you get back up, or the second you get out of the invincibility frames of your rolls. Poise doesn't really make a difference in the fight either as all poise will do is make it so you can take some of their heavy hits with an instant follow-up. At least 0 poise would give you the invisibility frames you get when you're struck to the ground. Hitting smough with melee and not getting hit by Ornstein is nothing but a game of luck that you play each time you take a swing, you can dodge all you want but you still need to hit them. I'm not sure how I feel about super Smough since I normally kill him first, but I find it a lot worse than super Ornstein; without a high level or well upgraded armor, the majority of his attacks can kill you in one hit, or one with a quick follow-up. His moveset makes it pretty hard to get hits on him with a lot of the larger weapons.
I still rather fight Orange Juice and Smoothies than the four kings any day.
I went head to head with Smokey and Bandit. Full Black Iron set, Greataxe (mostly upgraded), Wolf ring and Ring of Steel Defense. Solaire tanked Ornstein while I got rid of Smough. Then I hugged Super Ornstein's legs and hit it until it died. Was pretty easy actually.
met my first hacker, he gave me 99 humanity (and twin humanity) and 99 soul of a hero
The game isn't very hard, I just rung the second bell. When does the difficulty ramp up?

Are there any inventory editors? I want to try out ornstiens armor, I don't really want to have to go back and do it all again in new game +.
I beat Ornstein and smough ALONE on my first playthrough with no assistance from solaire or anyone. I just used my winged spear and pyromancer glove +9 with light-medium armor for maximum dodgeability from smough's attacks. after i got rid of ornstein the rest was easy as i only had to dodge supersmough's attacks and strike away.
During my first play-through I was human like, 1 minute in total. Never had those fancy phantom NPCs or players to help me out with bosses.
HOLY FUCK, those swinging axes in Sens Fortress are getting me the angriest I have ever been at this game.
Those are most likely the least hazardous thing in the fortress
It was just bad timing on my behalf.

Difficult as fuck, and maybe ill-placed (O&S are definitely harder than a majority of the bosses that come afterwards), but they're definitely very beatable if you know what you're doing and just don't freak out. My biggest problem with that fight is that when I kill one off, my heartrate goes up like 200% and I do something incredibly stupid. The "worst this game has to offer" is Bed of Chaos. Indubitably. On NG+ and further they'll just murder you.
I was playing my starting level sorcerer run and I cleared the whole painted world of ariamis first because I felt like it but then I had to deal with the archers. Lets just say I just lost 150k souls and 10 humanity. Moral of the story take more then one ring of sacrifice.
