Are most miracles defensive or are there quite a bit of offensive spells? I'm thinking of making a cleric for my next character.

Compared to Demon's Souls, how hard is this game? I managed to beat Demon's Souls and really enjoyed it, but I've heard this game is way, way harder, and I don't feel like dropping $30 on a game that's going to piss me off to no end.

Just had a nice string of PvP duels with some guy from that dragon covenant, fun times

Whats the normal level for O&S? I have a feeling I'm underlevelled.

Also Smough is susceptible to lightning damage, perhaps get a resin or go to the giant blacksmith. I am usually level 50-60 around O&S, but it depends on my build. Sometimes earlier, I usually clear the Woods, Painted World and the Undead Asylium first.

I just found a demon spear, is it worth using over the lightning spear due to it's range? Or should I just stick with the lightning spear

Here is a quick story about a very amazing invader encounter i had: I was at the second bonfire in Anal Rodeo and just got out the room where i was facing the door of the room opposite (the one with the chest and silver knight) exactly then i got invaded by some guy, so i stepped back towards the balcony where you enter the inside. The guy spawned, bowed to me, and so did I. As he was waiting for my first move, I removed my weapon and shield. I bowed to him, turned my back and walked slowly towards the balcony and just stood there with my back to him. He came closer about 2 meters behind me and.... he bowed and used his seperation crystal and left respect +100

Finally getting somewhere with extracting the models. Got some armour pieces into Noesis. Now to get UV coordinates so I can get textures working. [t]http://puu.sh/13MAF[/t]

Just fought ornstein and smough for the first time, barely dented one of their hp bars. I can tell this is going to be very fun because I can see how I could win this battle ..

This way the royal sentinel will try to walk around the pillar. Then take a sharp left and just run for the gate. You can find a video demonstration in a video from vageta 311.

Okay, here's my current stats [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/dN5VX.jpg[/img_thumb] can someone give me some advice as to what the fuck i'm doing? i'm trying to get my faith to 20 for sunlight spear, but other than that idk what to put points towards I originally wanted kind of a quick dex build with light armor/weapons but now i'm not sure if I messed up my stats too much

I have to ask because I didn't get that far in the 360 version and I would like to know this before I start in the PC version. Are there swiping polearms like Naginatas and such? I remember Pike+Shield was pretty good, but swiping attacks would help me a lot.

Also just a note NEVER level resistance its the worst investment you can make. Anyway to sum up my opinion if you just want to beat the game no problem however if you want a proper build make a new character.

After this playthrough, i'll properly set up my stats in either NG+ or on a new char Any tips on fighting the Stray Demon? I need souls to level soon and it seems the easiest way is killing the demon for 20k souls. I would normally summon help but for some reason there aren't any summon signs back in the asylum

For the stray demon bring a magic resist shield so you can block that big blast attack he does.

Man fuck twinks. They ruin PVP for everyone else. I'm not about to spend hours chaining gear down between characters to get it to a low level character just to keep up. The forest hunter covenant is impossible to be a part of because everyone you invade is a twink that ganks all the spawn points.

I would normally summon help but for some reason there aren't any summon signs back in the asylum[/QUOTE] Try to stay just behind his tail as much as possible and slash away at it, as it's just outside his range for the blast attack and it can lock him into repeating the attack where he just slams the hammer into the ground over and over. Makes him real easy to beat.
