The Zweihander scales better with strength. It's not necessary to keep upgrading dexterity if you plan to keep using it.
I kept getting told strength weapons tend to suck with PvP
I'd start upping that vitality a bit.
I only have the default warrior's vitality at SL 57 :D. I'm decently good at the game though so I don't need it that much to survive. Though I'm going to up Vitality to 50 once I reach SL125.
Wow, I'm never going to be able to kill Seath without a summon. My fucking spells go right through him! Seriously, what the hell? And yes, I destroyed the crystal...
How far might you say?
I have mine at 30 but I'd say somewhere around 25 should be fine.

And yes, I destroyed the crystal...
so attack him physically. or use pyromancy. seriously, as long as you stay in front of him and wear the cursebite ring, he's a pushover. he can barely ever actually hurt you. anyways, just beat kalameet, and i've gotta say... i think the DLC bosses are the hardest yet. kalameet only took me like 4 tries or so but i actually had to block rather than flipping everywhere for once. extremely aggressive, extremely powerful. this dude's gonna be a nightmare on NG+. artorias was also pretty hard. reminded me of fighting super ornstein except way more aggressive.
Seath is a puss if you fish for his crystal beam attacks. All he does is spin in circles and spam his tail flailing attack. :v: Also I saw a pretty cool technique to cut his tail off, and it's also good because it buys you a good amount of time for free hits; you just stand next to the crystal and wait for him to charge his beam, then you bum rush him. By the time his beam hits the crystal you'll already be hitting him.
So apparently some guys uchigatana goes through greatshields
So apparently some guys uchigatana goes through greatshields
Was it just the bleed effect or were all of his hits just plainly ignoring your shield?
Was it just the bleed effect or were all of his hits just plainly ignoring your shield?
Ignoring
Well there is a thing called dead angles where some weapons can go around the shield. Uchis probably don't have any, so that was lag maybe.
This fucker, THIS FUCKER, THIS FUCKER, I have all my skills at 99, I am level 767, and he keeps raping me like he's a catholic priest and I'm a choir boy. Worst part is my character is sorcerer/archer, and I have no good melee weapons, so every time ends with him flipping around like the king of the havel flips, and smashing my face with his big throbbing greatsword. Yay, I actually managed to summon someone and we (re: him) cut Seath's tail off. I found out that you have to get really close to him for spells to work, almost in melee range. [editline]10th September 2012[/editline] I really wish the game had ingame text chat. GFWL is pretty awkward to use when the mouse cursor won't reenable...

That and I've already beaten the game twice on ps3, so I thought I'd just mess around for fun.

And if you're lvl 99 in all stats, why not get another weapon or spell? I mean, how can you suck so bad, even with over-maxed stats?

okay so a buddy of mine just gave me dark souls for PC out of the blue scale of 1 to 10 how fucked am I (I do have a controller)
Depends, I'd say 7 unless you prove otherwise. Just take it easy and slow, and don't rush anything.
Do you learn from mistakes? If no, 10, if yes, 3.
So every now and then a sound goes off and a gold mist floats around my head, what does it mean?
So every now and then a sound goes off and a gold mist floats around my head, what does it mean?
Someone kindled a nearby bonfire, and you just got a free estus flask.
Wow Ornstein & Smough were much easier than expected, beat them first try

Being that high level just means you're going to do marginally more damage with your spells and weapons, but it doesn't help you with what you really need to know: enemy attack patterns and openings. Stats don't mean a whole lot in this game. Also, at max level, every Darkwraith will be able to invade you. (They invade infinitely up in terms of SL.) Furthermore, very few friendly phantoms will be available to summon at max level. You're honestly kind of screwing yourself over. (Also jesus you maxed 4 stats just from grinding? How long did that take you? In that time you probably could have beaten the game 4 times over. Literally.)
My friend has been carrying me throughout the game so far. Killed the spider bitch and in the swamp place or whatever it is. My friend is the one called, Knight Solaire!

Oh look a GIANT SWORD. I wonder if I have to face a GIANT. This whole cemetery is pretty ominous, let me just go and touch that sword. Oh look a hand. Why is it furry? OH MY JESUS IT'S A WOLF THAT USES A SWORD WHAT THE FUCK WHY WOULD IT EVEN NEED TO YOU CAN JUST EAT ME OH GOD.
You are either lying or you are the true Chosen Undead.
I just had to abuse Smough while he was stuck on pillars :v:
