You can't even be invaded when you're hollow. In fact, I've never been invaded once without a phantom and I'm SL 64.
So I recently got some money and I was wondering if its past the stage where new players can get into the game without being buttpounded by vets?
There's a level differential of 10%, so level one means no one will invade you, till level 10 then level 9-11 can invade and so on.

Gravelord?
Well now I own both Dark Souls and Demon's Souls collectors editions yay
So today I finally killed the Capra Demon, summoned a phantom. Which made it a lot easier. So then I got the key to enter the Depths. Never been there and I was pretty excited. Then I went down there, shat my pants and completely lost myself in the sewers with all those fucking creatures, I did not know where to go and I was sacred shitless. Then I all emptied all my Estus flask, suddently a dark spirit is invading my world. I killed him but it was fucking close. Afterwards I summoned another player and we both cleared the dungeon, it was easy. Then we even killed that fucked up Gaping Dragon. Holy crap, what the christ? Those monsters are starting to look worse every time. Well now I have like 45000 souls, what am I supposed to do now?
Blighttown.
Gravelord?
Covenant of GraveLord Nito, Not really fun imo, Pretty much just making black phantoms appear and waiting for someone to die so you can steal half of their souls.
Oh gawd, Blightown is such a pain in the ass. The lagging really makes things a lot harder.
So I recently got some money and I was wondering if its past the stage where new players can get into the game without being buttpounded by vets?
All you really have to worry about is the undead burg/parish, as people are assholes and tend to create level 1 characters with endgame gear and pound new players there. You can just stay hollow through that and avoid them entirely and after that the pvp should be relatively fair.
Being a gravelord in blight town and cursing people, oh how must people hate me.
Dammit I hate the boss in the Undead Parish. The one legged one with the big staff. His staff swing is hard to block.
He's not really a boss, more like a tough enemy.
Being a gravelord in blight town and cursing people, oh how must people hate me.
You can curse people with that shit? I would want to fucking murder you haha
I am so scared in Blightown, the planks are dangerous. Those fucking abominations are horrible and those firedogs can kiss my ass.
I am so scared in Blightown, the planks are dangerous. Those fucking abominations are horrible and those firedogs can kiss my ass.
The blowdarters are my favorite. Fuck toxic.
All the planks and plattforms are really confusing, besides it is pretty dark and there are tons of ways where the enemy can sneak behind you. Then those fucking dart blowers are insane. Luckily I bought some cures for them. Besides the bad framerate does not help either.
Oh god I just realized since I'm on NG+, I have to go through Blighttown again. FUCK EVERYTHING. FUCK.
Enjoy your toxic cancer :v:
So over the past few days I've developed a great fondness for painted world PVP. Especially playing a sorcerer, all those tight corridors make it really easy to pop people with soulmasses and soulspears.
Dammit I hate the boss in the Undead Parish. The one legged one with the big staff. His staff swing is hard to block.
He's easy and he's a mini-boss.
Oh my god Chameleon is the best spell in the game. I just invaded a GROUP of people who were all glowing gold (I have no idea what this means) and I knew I was going to lose any fight I started, so I turned myself into a barrel and hid in a corner, and they passed me 5 times before I decided to just give up and slowly approach them as said barrel. They all bowed to me and then killed me :v:
Being a gravelord in blight town and cursing people, oh how must people hate me.
I went down there around level 13. I don't think it has a good range of levels though; I should get up to 20 or so and get a few pieces of gear
Oh my god Chameleon is the best spell in the game.
Indeed it is, So many people walked pass me as a vase. Imagine being a vase and standing on a narrow edge and when they get close, Use Force or Wrath of the gods.
ceramics have feelings too ;'o
funion accept my psn invite and give me stuff in-game tia
Does anyone have also problems to execute a kick or do this jump charge attack? I usually fail at using them. Playing on the xbox by the way.
Cool a new thread!
Arranged a meeting with Big Hat Logan and Iron Tarkus, we all met in the forest and Tarkus summoned us. We just let people invade and watched their reactions. Knight Solaire + Iron Tarkus + Big Hat Logan vs Invaders. Dark souls at it's best.

You might take a while to get an opening, but once you do, everything is dead. Everything.
