i managed to kill a host and his phantom in the catacombs
i patiently waited near the bridge switch and when both the host and his phantom friend were on the bridge i flipped the bridge around instantly killing them
i think that was my most satisfying invasion ever
patches would be so proud of me
Gosh darnit!
Last time I fought Seath I won him on my first try. Now on New Game+ I have immense trouble dodging his crystal-spam -attack for some reason and get stuck in it, unable to drink Estuses, and die.
I found Seath to be a super easy boss.
I decided to roll a faith build, but i have no idea how to play it.
Except for spears

Yeah, I agree. I was a bit disapointed that Seath was so small and rather easy. Although the part where you he captures you is nice.
Ooooh, I had no idea Dex increased spell cast speed.
Tempted to do an SL 1 playthrough, any advice?

You'll squeal in delight when you go to the bed of chaos .
i beat nito and bed of chaos all in one go
i feel so accomplished
WOW FUCK THIS
I slapped the fucking archers dick with a great chaos fireball +8 and fucking GUESS WHAT LEFT WITH LIKE 1 HP OLOLOLOL AND GUESS WHUT ARROW KNOCKED YOU OFF
I'm going to be getting this game in about 2 days. Are there any character setups that are good for a new player, or am I best making my own, and seeing how it works for me?

The completely full proof way of doing I found is to buy about 40 poison (you don't need this many if you're a good shot) arrows and to stand somewhere along the green line in this picture:

At this line the arrows from the archers cannot hit you and you also have a clear, but long shot to hit them. Fire off a few test arrows until you see the spark come off the archer signaling you hit him, then start firing poison arrows at him as fast as you can. After 2-3 arrows he should become poisoned and eventually die.
I'm sure you've heard this tip before, and I did too, but I was fucking confused in finding a good spot to shoot the arrows and I thought the sparks meant they weren't effecting them at all, which is why I went into that much detail. Also take the first left door when you get in the building to find the bonfire.

I just bumrushed it and made it a few minutes ago. But yeah thanks for the tip.
Man I barely even played Demon Souls and I'm fucking pumped for dark souls once I get my own monis to buy it.
I also hope it's harder that the first one. I give not a single fuck how frustrating it can get, once you finally kill that demon vanguard on the tutorial level it just feels so good.
And Dark Souls' priest looks wack, I prefer the old one with the awesome chain vest
I have never had a problem with those two archers everyone keeps talking about.
After hours of trying, I finally got the Shadow set. It took so fucking long to get to its location from the Valley of Drakes shortcut.

I found lightning weapons are pretty good; Try looking on a wiki for a weapon you might want to use, meet the requirements for it, then put the rest of the points into vitality or endurance (for health and stamina, respectively).
This is assuming you want a melee build. Also you are probably going to want 12 dex to use a bow, and 12 faith for a healing spell that comes in handy now and then.
So yeah grab a shield and a weapon of your choice, and just upgrade it until you can put lightning upgrades on it.
Iron Flesh is basically what I used to kill Seath and the Four Kings.
Doesn't work too well against PvP...
Dark souls DLC, I am waiting for thou.

Such an amazing song.
That feeling you get when you first walk into his area and that music starts playing.
