Kill the necromancers (the robed dudes shooting flames at you). A couple of them are well-hidden.
You need an enchantment to kill the skeletons permanently. Go to the blacksmith at the end of the Undead Burgs (near where you fight the gargoyles and ring the first bell). I think it's a holy enchantment? Look it up. But kill the necromancers too. The enchantment means they can't be revived though.
A friend is going to buy it for me on my birthday. How nice of him.
Any tips for killing Sif & the 4 Kings early (~SL15)? I want to invade everywhere.
That was TOO fucking close:
Good luck on the Four Kings. Your gonna need it! (Always wanted to say that...)
My god I want this game soooooo badly :( I loved Demons Souls.
Just crafted quelaags fury sword and kind of disappointed going to stick with the demon spear

You can see if your weapon has divinity by looking at the stat with a white circle. A weapon that has divinity initially is Astora's Straight Sword.
ok The first and only time thus far an enemy is making me really annoyed, the Dukes archives. Christ that fucking spellcaster. [editline]11th September 2012[/editline] Starting over as a sorcerer, 30 hours into a wanderer I had no idea what I was doing killed several important people etc
I kinda want to try this. :v:
Fuck Sen's Fortress and everything in it.
Fuck Sen's Fortress and everything in it.
Bring a bow. There's a few enemies that are in the worst positions but they can be shot off the ledges with arrows, and you can bait a few into the swinging axes.
RIP Solaire of Astora you were always grossly incandescent to me.
Almost beat the Bed of Chaos on my first try but just as I jumped for the branch that leads to its heart it swiped me into the bottomless pit :(. Made it on my second try though. All things considered that was probably the easiest boss fight I ever had.
Bring a bow. There's a few enemies that are in the worst positions but they can be shot off the ledges with arrows, and you can bait a few into the swinging axes.
Never thought of doing that.
also the worst "boss fight"
Slash branch 1. Quit and reload. Shoot branch 2 with an arrow. Quit and reload. Run up the middle, jump on the root and kill the bug thing. Gratz you win! Honestly the hardest part of the fight is just making sure you don't get knocked into a hole.

That boss is shitty because without doing shit like that you are pretty much almost guaranteed to die. It's hardly about skill.
That's not a legitimate strategy. That boss is shitty because without doing shit like that you are pretty much almost guaranteed to die. It's hardly about skill.
Well when every video I watched detailing the best way to deal with the boss with minimal hassle pretty much all of them said to do it that way. I decided to use the best method available whether it was "legitimate" or not. So while you're there pulling your hair out I'm sitting comfortably with its soul in my pocket with little to no frustration.
So I'm turning my sorcerer into a sort of sorc/wanderer hybrid and it's pretty cool. Can't wait to get some more interesting soul spells
I swear, the game makes it so you get knocked towards the holes...
I try to avoid any fight on a narrow ledge.

But I can admit that if there is any boss deserving of abusing the game over, it's Bed of Chaos.
Man, Artorias is so easy when you have someone else taking all the hits for you. :v:
Hey, facepunch. Look at what I am trying. (I don't care if other people are doing it as well, I want it to have my own style </3)
I'm around level 80 or so on my Pyro/Dex build, almost to my goal of 100. Been forest invading for souls whilst farming chunks at the kiln, I'm really happy with my unbuffed Uchigatana, think I'll make it +15. I actually won against a few gankers!
Is this NG or NG+? I tried invading the forest so much at 80 with red eye orb and got nothing.
Is this NG or NG+? I tried invading the forest so much at 80 with red eye orb and got nothing.
NG. I was in the forest covenant though, using the ring. You get summoned fairly quickly but the only bad thing is that ~70-80% of the time it'll be gankers. Now that I'm 100 though I'm going to see if I can get summoned from red signs or just try invading where I think people will be on NG+ at.
Looks boss :3 [editline]o[/editline] I'll take care of the white border when all buttons are done. It's cause of the alpha channel n stuff [editline]o[/editline] God damnit I think I screwed up somewhere in there... Cause now it has a black box around all the buttons. First I gotta fix this, then I can keep doing the other buttons. OH WELL
I have trouble beating Sif. Should I kill the ninja and betray the covenant to get the quick jump ring? I am knight but can't stand his attacks, and my roll is too slow. I'm also almost completely using my weight.

So if you're roll's too slow now you're going to have to lose some weight before the ring becomes helpful. Trick the Sif is just to stay under him as much as possible. He has trouble hitting you at that angle.
