god dammit the shit my friend pulled on me when i was playing
"so you see that big giant black knight lookin guy down there? go down the other staircase instead of up staircase to the tower, it goes to the taurus demon who you couldn't ever beat, this guy you just backstab and that's it and then you move on to undead parish"
"okay for the taurus demon you just need to roll a lot and you can roll through his legs"
"the dragon on the bridge doesn't breath fire"
"the rats don't poison you"
"you can't fall off edges"
I find it hard to believe you fell for that last one

I believe that retarded shit when I'm tired and it's two in the morning.
nobody really knows. some people think the player is the pygmy, but i think the popular theory now is that manus is the pygmy.
Manus is the primeval human right? Aka pygmy.

It's not confirmed
It's not confirmed
to be fair, though, basically nothing is confirmed... they're very tight-lipped about the game's lore.
that reminds me, though, the one thing the DLC does confirm is that the anor londo blacksmith is not, in fact, hawkeye gough. just a friend.

what if all humans are pygmy's
since they technically are smaller than everything else in the game, they would be considered pygmy's, so the backstory is just a random unimportant human that discovered something really important and became important
and the dark soul is humanity
stolen from tvtropes

well... clearly manus was a human at some point. they're very open about that part. and clearly his power is derived from humanity, since all the black magic is evidently driven by "human souls." so i guess this would support the theory that manus the furtive pygmy mentioned in the intro?

Oh fuck I'm stupid.
So are there any normal alive humans in the Dark Souls universe? Everyone you meet is mentioned as undead.
just bought a 360 controller to play this shit and now dsfix puts my game at the top left of the screen at a very small resolution. Any help?
Dammit, I hate when I panic during invasions
Do many people still fight in the kiln?
In my experience it's just an alternate version of the forest now.
If you want a really high chance of clean PvP, the undead burg is probably the best place to be between SL 100-120. I get summoned almost instantly from my red sign at level 100 on PS3.

I think Solaire and Rhea might be.

You're in the land of the undead, there are places with humans, like Carim, Astora, etc.

So when people die they go to the Undead Asylum or is that for the ones marked with the Darksign?

Where you put the DSfix there should be a DSfix.ini. Open that with notepad. Change the renderwidth and renderlength to whatever you want. That should fix it
I think Solaire and Rhea might be.
Solaire says he's undead the first time you meet him and I'm fairly sure Rhea goes a bit hollow in the Archive prison.
Anyway I've left my Bloodstain in with Quelaag and I'll need something a bit stronger if I want to handle her. I'd be right to Homeward bone out of the boss room, right?
I enjoy watching bloodstain recordings of people rolling and walking straight off ledges to their death

You need to disable in-game AA.

Yeah everyone with a Darksign gets sent to Lordran/Undead asylum. Normal undead still go to Lordran to seek redemption, etc.

Does anyone want to help me with the Tomb of the Giants tomorrow?
I'm playing a mage character this playthrough. I'm at SL58 right now, and have 10 vitality.
Should I put on the Ring of Favor?

My favorite was a blood stain where a guy did a random roll then started punching everywhere then he dropped dead. I was so confused.
Also, what's a good place to PVP and SL to PVP on PC? I was told SL120-125 on PC but I want to make sure since I can't revert my level.

I'd imagine 100 would be, for the battle of stoicism - SL120 would put you in the level 101-200 bracket. A lot of the PvP streamers seem to be capping at 100 on PC.
Jeeze, some people in PvP have ridiculous damage with their weapons
Jeeze, some people in PvP have ridiculous damage with their weapons
I really hate people that use shit like the black knight greataxe with the hornet ring. I'm so glad it's going to be nerfed on consoles soon.
So after discovering that you can still do the leaping attack with the great scythe while wearing havel's armor, many great PVP victories were had tonight. No one expects someone in the havel set to come leaping at them from 8 feet away.
I always thought it was weird how the leap attacks are the same no matter what your weight encumbrance is. The jump roll is also the same distance no matter the encumbrance, at least the jump part is I think.

Man, this peer-to-peer lag really gets to me, enemies hitting me when the weapon is a good 2 meters away

I don't really want Arenas though, just good ol' invasions but I don't know the generally accepted SL and stuff.
