You know you can kill them by killing the necromancers right?

But until you do they keep respawning unless killed with a divine weapon which makes everything a ton harder.
I didn't know that, but I'll stick with my Divine Painting Guardian Sword.
Dat Moveset.
Christ, got invaded by someone using a dragonslayer bow in Undead Parish on a SL17 character. Couldn't do shit about it, especially when the arrows hit me even after I dodged.

I just bumrushed the skeletons until I found a necromancer then mercilessly attacked it without giving a shit about dying. It's a ton easier getting your shit back when the skeletons actually die.
[QUOTE=Devodiere;37720647]Speaking of catacombs, where is the earliest possible holy weapon and do I need high faith to get rid of these fucking skeletons for good? Head through Darkroot and find the Divine ember?[/QUOTE]
Well you could degrade the havels occult club to divine at a blacksmith

Astora's sword near the undead dragon.
Lol, was invading new people in the Parish on my SL10 darkwraith twink, I wasn't actually an ass though, I was just dressing up as Havel with the Dragon Tooth and the Greatshield and his set of armor and everyone was just backing up like crazy.
Then after being backed in a wall they'd backstab me and see that I was actually defenseless as hell.
This is real fun though, going through all this trouble to get to SL10 Darkwraith with all my gear was worth it.
I use Dingy Robe, Wanderer Manchette and Hood, Eastern Leggings, Ring of Favor and Protection, Dark Wood Grain Ring, Grass Crest Shield and Quelaag's Furysword.

Just get the Divine Ember, Titanite is easy to farm and Moonlight Butterfly is an easy boss.
I'm SL50 (level 50 but for some reason people put "SL" :v:) and I'm primarily sorcery, should I level up faith? It's still at 8 but it looks useful

SL = Soul Level

Means Soul Level, it's what levels were called in Demon's Souls so it carried over.
Ah cheers :) so my question about faith? Not sure if at sl50 itd be beneficial to level a new stat or stick with vit/int
Get faith to level 12 and you can buy a 5 use heal spell from the fat guy at the start of the game.
It's very useful. You need a talisman equipped though

I say don't go faith unless you've got a weapon that scales on faith or if a certain miracle would really complement your build.
Also, SL50 PVP in Sen's Funhouse and Anal Roundabout is a blast so you might even want t stay there if you're into that.
I have never invaded anyone and i'm primarily sorcery so ill try it but wont be geat haha thanks for the tip :) is there a way of getting out of anor londo without killing smough?

at SL50 after putting all your points in vit/int it doesn't even heal that much anymore, I'd rather max out endurance or keep dumping points into int so you 1shot everything.

You can go to the place where you entered Anor Londo for the first time and the winged demons will fly you back to Sen's. You can also enter the painting.

Still a free spell and it does heal for alot with only 12 faith, not to mention it helps if you go invading or helping other players.
Nice I'll head back to Sen's and invade for a while :) then when I move on I'll spend my next 3 levels on faith for the spell and then focus primarily on ornstein and smough which will take a while as I haven't fought them as a spellcaster and the first time round I gave up and summoned help which I don't want to do now :v:
I started a fourth new pyromancer character and when I was fighting the Gargoyles the second one whiffed the jump and fell off the ledge.
My Faith build is coming along nicely, Don't have as much time now that schools started.
After being Fatty and Stabby are there more miracles that I can get?
I'm now around lvl 53 and my intellect is only 31, I bought the soul spear without looking at requirements :v: I've done my sorcery build wrong too much focus on end/vit/dex

Those are actually all good skills to have on a sorcerer, it'll flesh out.
What's the most damage you've done in one swing? I just got 1333 with a 2 hand right click using Demon's Great Hammer+14, Power Within, and Great Magic Weapon.
[editline]adasds[/editline]
Also, I killed the hydra and [sp]there's no gold golem in the cave behind the lake for me to kill, what do I do?[/sp]
[editline]adasds[/editline]
Never mind I restarted and he was there.

I think the most I've ever done is like 400, my character is based around strength but this is only my first time through the game and I suck and my SL is only like 62.
OK, so big change I've just noticed in the PC version: Titanite Slab drop rate from Darkwraiths has been increased. It's still very small of course, but they've dropped two for me this playthrough and that's from maybe 10 or 11 total farming runs.
Other players are reporting this too. Average seems to be one from every ten runs. That's assuming you use the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring and 10 Humanity, of course.
Really good news IMO. This is on top of the slabs you can find in the DLC content. It was frustrating that you were previously only able to max two or three weapons per playthrough.
I hit about 500-700 average with my Black Knights GreatSword
How much was the Hornet ring nerfed anyway?

2077, +15 rapier with power within and sunlight blade @ 30 faith
it was a parry on a normal hollow, the largest single strike was 1688 power within sunlight blade +15 claymore on counterhit on a phantom

From 50% to 30% I believe.

I was going to say "if only other slabs were made easier to obtain," but now that I'm thinking about it, there's a few enemies that drop slabs of each type, though I've never tried to kill them until I got a slab because I never needed them. Not sure if they'd be more difficult than getting a normal slab or not, now that this change was made.
I still feel like there should've been at least 3 slabs of each type spread throughout the game as treasure, I don't understand why you have to practically be locked to a single weapon because that's all you could fully upgrade. Especially when it comes to armor, why do they expect you to go through 3-5 playthroughs just for a marginal upgrade from +9?
