Gargoyles have been taken care with my remade Monk Character. It's pretty hard to deal with one of them when the other one is constantly breathing fire down your neck while your unable to kill them in just a few hits with a Drake Sword or something. But intense. And then i die and lose 4 humanity and 16k souls that i could had spent upgrading my gear and stats. Fucking hell... I wish the extra content had another fist weapon to experiment on. All I'm thinking of using is the caestus, the dragon bone fist and maybe even the Dark Hand. And when it comes to PVP, i can switch to a club weapon or something. Still, The content gave out another whip, so why not another fist weapon?
I was going to say "if only other slabs were made easier to obtain," but now that I'm thinking about it, there's a few enemies that drop slabs of each type, though I've never tried to kill them until I got a slab because I never needed them. Not sure if they'd be more difficult than getting a normal slab or not, now that this change was made. I still feel like there should've been at least 3 slabs of each type spread throughout the game as treasure, I don't understand why you have to practically be locked to a single weapon because that's all you could fully upgrade. Especially when it comes to armor, why do they expect you to go through 3-5 playthroughs just for a marginal upgrade from +9?
IMO all armor should just use Twinkling Titanite or something. There's literally never any reason to waste five whole slabs on a set of standard armor. I might test farming other chunk-dropping enemies for slabs, like the Pinwheel-dudes in the Tomb of the Giants. It would make sense if they increased the drop rate universally, though colored slabs have never really been as important as plain slabs. (I also hope that if the next Souls game uses a similar upgrade system, we can combine smaller upgrade stones into larger ones, I.E. ten chunks = one slab or something.)

I forsee a few mods for Queelag in the usual Nexus style.
Try using both hands

http://darksouls.nexusmods.com/mods/27 Finally.
How often do you see your characters head anyway? Most armor completely covers the head. [editline]19th September 2012[/editline] I'm hoping we get some remodels and not just tits, thighs n face like the elder scrolls part of the nexus.

I just got Dark souls off of steam, and I'm having loads of problems with it. My mouse pointer stays on screen, I've got black borders that I can't seem to get rid of, and I can't loot the corpse that fell into the cell.

That will solve graphics problems and mouse pointer problems.
Download DSFix from here http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/. That will solve graphics problems and mouse pointer problems.
I've already downloaded that. I got the mouse pointer fixed. But I'm still having the black border problem.

I have beaten the game, and since I used a trainer to max out my skills early early on my friend yelled at me, so I let him choose the build for my next run through, he said deprived, never leveling up, ever, I'm fucked. Have This also please think of a good build for me to follow so I don't have to do this bullshit he bestowed upon me
Deprived, only level up vitality and use default shield and club.

Obtain whip, get bare minimum stats to equip. No shield. Go.
Anyone else see these? Mouse fix mod, I haven't tried it 60 fps mod with mutliplayer
That 60 fps makes the blood stains play extremely fast. It's actually funnier that way.
I tried to make a weak but fast build for this run, but it seems I'm drifting towards Str, End, Vit -build AGAIN. Well, invulnerable tank GO GO!
While I posted this earlier, I feel the need to shamelessly self-promote. If you run across any Black Knight weapons, you can replace it with one of those. They're really great and will easily carry you until you learn enough to start experimenting more. The rest of the skillpoints can be spent in either Faith or Int for miracles or magic, respectively. You could also opt to put more points into attunement only for enough slots to use pyromancy. Also, here's a rundown on some of the stats that would make good builds for later on, or for your next build: RESISTANCE DOES NOT EXIST 40 vitality (50 is also popular, essential skill) 40 endurance (you reach max stamina at this level, anything higher only increases equip burden, essential skill) X attunement (whatever level you want, I tend to trip all over my spells if I have more than 4 slots personally) 27 strength on strength builds (27 str is the "climax" of 2-handed damage you'll get from str weapons, anything higher is to be able to do more damage one-handed and meet requirements) 40 dex for dex builds (45 is also popular as this allows for the fastest spellcasting in the game) 30-40 faith for faith builds (30 for buffs, 40 for more effective miracles/darkmoon blade buff) 50 int (44 for crystal soul spear, 50 for white dragon breath) This page is also useful. For one "build" you're generally going to want 40 vit, 40 end, and whatever one or two skills you want to base your character on. For example, 27 strength and 30 faith, or a higher-leveled 45 dex and 50 int. You can also lower vit and end if you need to, 30 vit is a pretty comfortable amount of health, but it's not the best for PvP. If you have any questions feel free to ask; if I can't answer, I'm sure someone else wouldn't mind helping you.
I cant wait to complete this as my sorcerer so I can start over as deprived ... tonight's goals are to grind some levels so i can use the soul spear then take on Ornstein and Smough!
I re-did my Cleric build for Anor Londo, however it's a level 66 build and I'm worried that this would be a bad level for helping people. What do you guys think? [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] I can get it down to level 55, but I'd be lacking in the health department.
66 for Anor Londo is fine.
