I'm a bit disappointed with the Dark Souls Nexus, I figured they'd crank out nude mods a day after the site opened.

Ha, got invaded in Sens Fortress. The guy was just camping one of the pendulum walkways with Gough's bow. Just sat there with my shield til he came a little closer to the walkway and he stepped on a pressure plate and died from the arrows out of the wall.

Right now I'm trying to determine a good way to play through the game so that it would be great as a first build, or beginner build. Going from the Drake sword to the Gravelord sword, and then leveling up enough to use Black knight weapons is pretty good, but the requirements are a bit high and I have less vit and endurance than I would like for my level, not the best for new players, but the weapons themselves are doing great damage with minimal upgrade/scaling effort. I was thinking maybe lightning weapons would be alright, but the Drake sword won't carry new players through Anor Londo easily enough for them to be able to make them. They'd also make a lot of problems for O&S due to Ornstein's lightning resistance.

Well I just met my first hacker. Was invading the forest and ran into this new looking guy, had starting warrior set, drake sword, was struggling to fight the forest npcs and on top of that another invader arrived so I decided to give him a break and just watch and see if he survived. It soon became apparent that he was hacking and was invincible so me and the other phantom chased him around and I kicked him off of a cliff then "Well! What Is It!"d I got indicted

I hate how I had to kill Solaris, that broseph saved my ass in several encounters with invading spirits.

It was better than stabbing him in the back to do the 'dark' end though.

It has suddenly occurred to me that the Sun Solaire is seeking is actually the player. Think about it. He thinks he's looking for an actual Sun, but in reality he needs a great friend to shine for him. This thought came to me at 4:30 in the morning.

What's up with the light coming from the player? I thought that it was to represent the eye adapting to the dark. Although then it would make sense for it to have more of a blue hue to it.

Guess they just carried it over without the source, I guess.

Summoned Soliare, ran off for a bit, got invaded.. Found the invader struggling to beat him, backstabbed the invader and insta-killed him. Strange experience.

Alright, I went to fight the Moonlight Butterfly in human form and Beatrice's summon sign wasn't there. Is that normal and is there something I can do? I think the only ranged weapon I have is a Crossbow and my dex is 18 and I'm not too keen on fighting it alone.
