Beat Four Kings on my first attempt, Manus on my second and then took out Kalameet a few hours later. I am pleased with myself today, only 1 more lord soul to get and I can progress further.

I got PC version of the Prepare to Die DS, should I get xbox controller for the game?

Yes yes yes. Don't even bother trying to play with keyboard and mouse.

Keyboard and mouse isn't even that bad, my only complaint is the auto-targetting switches if you even twitch the mouse

I played through fine with keyboard and mouse, my only issue was the spazzing of lock on. I'm on my third playthrough and just downloaded the mouse fix mod, which is working wonders. I've been doing very well in PvP too, which I find very nice.

PvP is so stupid, honestly. It's a laggy mess. When I lose, it's because of a backstab that occurred while I was 20 feet away. And rolling. When I win, it's because my sword managed to magically pierce my opponent while he had his shield up and was behind me.

They should fix get rid of the reliance on backstabs in PvP of the next Souls.

i've always found it kind of ridiculous how someone who is wielding a itty bity tiny dagger/sword can backstab someone who has something like Havel's greatshield on their back. I can understand if it's a two handed weapon but a little butter knife thing shouldn't go completely through it. [editline].[/editline] also i was just invaded by this pyromancy dude but then he left when he saw I was wearing smough's armour and using dragon tooth +3 and havel's greatshield :v:. Like he came up to me, attacked me and only took like 200~ or so health away on his first attack, ran away while I was trying to slam him with dragon tooth, and he went and hid and teleported back to his world.

I'm not getting any of these problem you guys claim you are getting. Twitching locking or fasting camera speed? I've optimized my sensitivity for it. Terrible menu controls? Rebind that shit. I also encountered an honorable hacker on my twink yesterday in parish. I slaped him down to 0 hp and he ran off and dropped humanity and an eye of death.
