Dark Souls (PC/PS3/360)v2 - Prepare to Die edition. - Games

That's what I chose when I first played this game on PS3. I think it needs a buff, because it's just not worth it.

They could combine the evil eye, blue tearstone, east wood grain, and tiny being's rings and it still wouldn't be very useful. :v:

On my first playthrough I killed Lautrec in Anor Londo and spent the firekeeper soul on my flask. Had no idea I could revive her.

Decided to try my luck in the Catacombs, because no one is summoning me at Anor Londo... The summoning text appeared on my screen once, but I was never summoned to the other person's world. I can only imagine that I wasn't because the host died for some reason. [editline]24th September 2012[/editline] Well, I got summoned once so far. I think there must have been some kind of lag or glitch when I got connected to the guy because when I spawned into his world, the only thing I could see was his helmet, shield, and sword. Everything else was completely invisible. We got to the stairs that lead to the blacksmith and I was leading the way. He jumped off too soon and landed on my head and fell to his death.

On my first play through on the PS3 I chose pyromancer and pumped a lot of stats into Intelligence (I was using pyromancy + str weapons). I also chose the Tiny Beings ring thinking it would slowly regen my hp.

I tried trying to kill him in his cell over and over again with no luck.

I like to bait him around to the stairs leading down to the ruins. He tries being all fancy and ninja flips off the edge.

I like the Silver Knight Shield +5 because it's easy to get and upgrade and it's got very good stability. [editline]24th September 2012[/editline] but as i've said before the bed of chaos is absolutely the worst part of the game. fantastically stupid.

I think it's kinda fun to try to do it all in one try with nothing but a two-handed shield, but when you can't make it, and it takes more than ~3 attempts, is when it starts to get old and irritating. At least for me.

At least for me.[/QUOTE] well i mean, once you understand what you're supposed to do and where/when you can be attacked, it's not like it's so difficult. but it's still really, really stupid. since most of the rest of the game is near-perfectly designed, it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I see nothing wrong with cheesing the Bed of Chaos.

I original attacked the side bit but it did no damage (pretty sure my sword glanced off the wall or something) so I thought the sacs were solid.

One time when I fought bed of chaos I died in the tunnel on the way to the grub thing. Ugh.

Bed of Chaos is easy and non-irritating until you have to jump to the root in the middle. I kept failing for like 40 minutes until it stomped with the hand instead of sweep. Usually the sweep got me, because it always did it when I was about to jump / jumping.

The spacing and sizes seem off (with there being a lot of extra spacing compared to the original), the characters look a bit strange (likely because they're narrower), and it apparently uses a bunch of completely different fonts. It may be a high resolution font, but mine is actually made using the original font (I've checked!). And, as I said, it has 100% more pictures of Solaire. Check and mate.
