About to fight the Four Kings. Any tips?
Iron Flesh, over 100% weight armor.
Other people have said this before, but it's interesting how From shows the relationship between these two just in the way they fight... clearly they kind of hate each other, but while Ornstein tries to be subtle about it, Smough is just fat and in the way and obnoxious.
And I had multiple times where Ornstein was about to finish me, but Smough's swing would push him out of the way and save me. Perhaps Smough truly loves the player
Iron Flesh, over 100% weight armor.
bah why do people recommend this way easier to get in close with very light armor, and then focus on dodging their attacks. at point-blank they'll only be able to hit you with the hilt of their sword-y-thing and you'll take very little damage. not to mention how obviously they telegraph their attacks, which makes dodging pretty straightforward. only thing you have to watch out for is their magic aoe attack, and for that i just recommend a mag-resist shield, so you can roll away and then shield if you're not far enough.

That fucking thing is hard as hell to dodge.

I must have missed that fucking root during the Bed of Chaos fight 30 times. Gwyn was actually pretty easy for me, but maybe it's because I spent the entire game perfecting parrying. Didn't miss a single parry when fighting him, made it pretty easy. Probably died the most fighting Bed of Chaos, would have never beat him if the orange orb things respawned.

Dude, thumb that shit. Seriously.
Iron flesh + Havel's worked great. Thanks for the tip

Now I have finished its time to start over as deprived. This is going to be a good time :)
So two questions. If Solaire dies when he's summoned is he dead forever? Because if he does I screwed up. Second, how the fuck am I supposed to get past those two sniper bastards in Anor Londo? I just want to get into the cathedral.

If you've got poise you can block his attacks without falling off. If you haven't, roll forward as he fires at you and you should avoid it. While you're fighting the one on the right, the other one shouldn't be able to hit you. Once he's dead you can continue on or try and kill the other one.

He'll walk right off the ledge trying to come after you. If you sprint away from him/put too much distance between you and him, he'll switch back to shooting arrows. As long as you lead him on (shouldn't be a problem since the left one won't be able to hit you) he'll kill himself.
I tried that and the other one shot me in the back. These guys are dicks.
Don't sprint up the second buttress, you don't need to in order to avoid the arrows. Save your stamina, and when you get to the top ledge with the archers, roll your ass off.
So I killed Seath.. and I have no idea where to go now. v:v:v
New Londo, Demon ruins, Catacombs. Take a pick. That or AoTA.
I tried that and the other one shot me in the back. These guys are dicks.
That happened to me once. The next time I tried he couldn't hit me.
I went through the entirety of New Londo Ruins without a cursed weapon or being cursed myself. It sucked. Really hard. Probably the hardest point in the game for me because of that, running from those ghosts was tough as all hell. Had to memorize the route to take because a single wrong turn meant getting gangraped by the posse of a million ghosts I was dragging around.
So were you just challenging yourself, or did you not know about transient curses?
I seriously never got my hands on transient curses. I even ran around checking all the bodies there for loot and never found one. I was blazing through the game up to that point so I think the Dark Souls gods felt like torturing me.
yknow there is two curses in that pot right before the plank bridge. right?
Haha wow, didn't even see that. I'm retarded.
then they last like 5 minutes each and get dropped like crazy
Is level 60 a good stopping point for PvP?
Is level 60 a good stopping point for PvP?
It is for Darkwraith invasions and Forest covenant (though you'll get wrecked in the latter)
Oh god my sides, I invaded some guy in Anor Londo, and as he were fighting it out in that little room that the bonfire is, I rolled back and he swung his sword right into Solaire :v:
It's hilarious if you can manage to make the host hit friendly NPCs in their worlds, I really wonder why people rated this dumb.
Best. Invasion. Ever. Joined the Forest Hunters in an old character I was cooping with my friend in, finally invaded someone. When I found him he was fighting some ents so I let him deal with those. After that we did gestures for about a minute, I was waiting for him to heal himself. I dropped a humanity and he picked it up, but he didn't use it. Instead he ran into another ent with like 5% HP left and died. I don't think he knew that I was invading him, not helping him...
