as soon as you go through the fog, run through the right side of the arena (this is important, if you go through the left the dogs will catch you and you won't be able to dodge the capra demon's first attack)
once I read this, it took me 3 tries, thanks :v: [editline]29th September 2012[/editline] also how do I backstab? I get behind enemies, drop my shield and press the strong attack button, yet I've never successfully pulled off a backstab.

Use your normal attack while pressing forward as you face their back.

Also 2hand does increase backstab damage too.
Ah, friend told me it was strong attack. Thanks.
Regular attack button. Oh lord. DWGR Ninjas. Also 2hand does increase backstab damage too.
I've never had 2 hand increase my backstab damage [editline]29th September 2012[/editline] DSfix 1.7 is out
I've never had 2 hand increase my backstab damage
Dex and elemental weapons (or anything that doesn't scale from strength) seems to get the least 2h crit damage over 1h.
My rapier gets like... 60 more damage with two handed backstabs over one handed.
Warrior of the sun reporting in. Helped four people take out capra and a further six with quelaag today and still at it. Sorted out what I want my character to be for sl50 going to help so many people through the two bastards
Welp, Gaping Dragon isn't gonna be fun
Welp, Gaping Dragon isn't gonna be fun
Wait for him to do a charge, go around him, and slice away at his tail. Repeat until boss is dead
Welp, Gaping Dragon isn't gonna be fun
I asumme youve got to the depths bonfire, alot of summoning markers there. edit: is black knight halberd good? I'm going to use it anyway because it looks cool, has range and comparably high damage but i'd wanna hear other opinions.
Yeah I spoke too soon, that was extremely easy. Didn't even have to summon anyone besides Solaire and he died like 30 seconds in :v:
Welp, Gaping Dragon isn't gonna be fun
Gaping Dragon is the easiest boss in the game. Learn when he's going to tailwhip, and stab his ass at all other times. [editline]29th September 2012[/editline] Told you
Are there any good sets of light armor that actually have some poise? I'm running a dex build and so far that's my only complaint. I'm loving the mobility and the Balder Side Sword +10 is serving me quite well in Anor Londo. The armor, however, is giving me some difficulty as the only real poise I have is coming from the wolf ring. Maybe I just need to be dodging more and blocking less, but are there any sets of armor that might help me out a little bit in the poise department? Also, I accidentally equipped the Ring of FaP (it was one slot below the Covetous Gold Serpent ring). I'm really considering taking it off to take advantage of the other rings, but something in the back of my head says I'll be kicking myself later if i do, especially since I'm not increasing my vitality much with this character. Any thoughts?
Gaping Dragon is the easiest boss in the game.
Pinwheel
Pinwheel
It's a tie. [editline]29th September 2012[/editline] In that both bosses can be defeated without taking any damage
It's a tie. [editline]29th September 2012[/editline] In that both bosses can be defeated without taking any damage
It's not a tie because Pinwheel can be killed much quicker.
So, I was forced to kill a daughter of chaos before the Bed of Chaos fight. Does this count as a sin against the the chaos covenant? That's some serious bullshit if it does. Also, is there a way to kill the orb on the left without ranged attacks? I ran out of arrows.
I hate the great hollow :(
It's not a tie because Pinwheel can be killed much quicker.
That and he can't really kill you in one hit. I once got sloppy and Gaping Dragon's tail whip killed me in one hit.

Jeeze, I accomplished a lot today and it's only 5:30. I killed the Capra Demon and the Gaping Dragon, got the Elite Knight set, got the Wolf Ring, and killed Havel for his ring.
It's not a tie because Pinwheel can be killed much quicker.
Ceaseless Discharge
So with my SL1 character I went from the start of Sen's Funhouse all the way to the Chamber of the Princess without dying. Yes, that DOES mean I killed the Iron Golem and Biggie and Small on my first try. It was also my first time fighting them by myself as a melee character. I am a fucking boss.
As sl1? Fuck me that's impressive
Ceaseless Discharge
Only if you know the trick to insta-kill it.
It's a tie. [editline]29th September 2012[/editline] In that both bosses can be defeated without taking any damage
At least I've died to the gaping dragon before. Pinwheel usually dies before he can even do anything.
How come Sen's Fortress is often said as "Sen's Funhouse"? Sorry I am still rather new to this game and all :v:
Have you been there? You would know why if you've been there.
