SL for invading in Blighttown would be about 35 ish right? I might have to try getting darkwraith and limiting myself to 35/40 this'll be uh, interesting ..

Does the 60 FPS patch make it possible to do online stuff, or what?

The frame rate combined with lag and the fact that it's fucking Blighttown would send me into a spiraling, dizzying rage when I inevitably lost. Which means you'll probably get a couple good stories or rage-filled messages. When you do, don't forget to share them with us!

Cause, you know, Blighttown doesn't already have enough poison!

I'll start off pyromancer and see if I can even get to and beat four kings staying around sl30... Not confident but it would be worth the trouble!!

This game has me stuck at a 15 fps cap no matter what, even with the dsfix. It sucks to not be able to run it higher than that. I've researched about it and everything, people have the same exact problem as I do and there is no fix. Sadface.

Sadface.[/QUOTE] I know you said you tried DSFix, but have you tried the latest DSFix with the frame limiter setting turned off in the ini? If so it's pretty weird that you would still get a constant 15fps. Or did that not work either?

Oh man, so I was darkwraithing in Duke's Archives and the host started running away from me up a ladder and behind a doorway. I chase after him and the cheeky bastard casts tranquil walk of peace from behind the wall and runs out to backstab me. I put my back against the wall to prevent a backstab and he takes a swing at me. NOT TODAY MOTHERFUCKER. I parried and instantly killed him. I was indicted

I'm having the same situation, but i think it's due to my poor graphics card, which is a GT520. Then again, i haven't touched DsFix in a while. I kinda gave up on the PC version until i get a new graphics card.

I have that issue with my laptop. I haven't been able to try the new DS Fixes yet because I had to send it in for repairs unfortunately.

Oh boy, the FPS fix doesn't make online play fucked up, but it does cause the jumps in Sens funhouse to fuck up. I tried about 10 times and even after stripping off all my armour, I couldn't make the jump to the crestfallen merchant, same with the boulder giant. Turn the FPS fix off, works first try.

Ha that is going to be a good time I might try and join you with a similar build :D My only trouble is actually staying at SL30 and completing half the game like that, it can't be easy

I beat the game last night. It's really nice that the game just goes straight into NG+.

Yup, soon gnna have a lvl 30 blighttown darkwraith with quelaag's fury sword and high dexterity :) This'll be fun

So I made the LifeHunt scythe and used it for a while, which was fine...until I started using it in PVP and saw it tear my character and the enemy character into tiny little blood soaked pieces at the same time.

are dexterity characters as hard as they sound? it seems like not focusing on defense would make you get instagibbed in a fight especially early game, like against the capra demon fuck the capra demon

Nothing's keeping you from having high defense on a dex build, like 80% of the weapons in the game get most of their scaling off dex anyway. Building the character as you play through can be tricky though.

I could be talking out of my ass, I've only had this game for a few days.
