Too bad Resistance is worthless, it's subject to some MASSIVE diminishing return.
The difference between someone with 99 humanity and giant's armor and 59 resistance and someone with giant's armor and 99 humanity and 10 resistance is a mere 10-20 defense.
that was joke
Oh my, The Four Kings are way harder on NG+ and I don't have a great sword... any weapon recommendations to use against The Four Kings?
I've seen Black Knight weapons (and anything else with high pure physical AR) do pretty well against them, as well as magic buffed with dusk crown/bellowing ring. They're also supposedly weak to fire.
Power within would probably be really useful if you can manage the health drain.
Just invaded blight town for a solid hour and a half, had some interesting messages come through I think it's pretty evident that I picked the best place to invade if annoying people is my goal :v:
I think I would be more okay with being invaded at SL16 if half the time I tried to summon help it would actually work. About 80% of the time I try to summon another player it fails. Is there any way I can increase my chances of actually being able to summon properly? Is it caused by bad connection?
I can never summon anybody either
I'm looking for some good build ideas, any suggestions?
Just invaded someone and ended up in a fist fight
Nothing but Endurance, use Havel's.

Helping people kill O&S as fast as possible... and invading them.

Thought about making an SL20 build with the demon's greataxe to help people with the gargoyles, but it would make cutting off its tail would be rather difficult. If I hit the body instead of the tail... v:v:v
how does the summoning thing work
is it only for bosses or could you essentially just play through sections of the game in co-op

you can only summon people if the boss of the area isn't dead yet
ah, that's interesting..
do bonfires still work with someone summoned?
ah, that's interesting..

No
What's a good weapon for STR build characters? I'm using a Claymore right now and was wondering if I should stick with that or get that Black Knight's Greataxe I've been hearing about or what
God Artorias is such an asshole
Yeah, yeah, spam that triple flip move 4 times in a row while I have power within on thank you
Yeah do that long jump move that's easy to dodge except this time why don't you extend your hit detection by 10 feet and kill me in one hit anyways?
I feel bad now. I was invaded in the Painted world and only ran into the Invader after a minute of searching. It was in one of the buildings and he was right up against me so I started attacking, only after a second delay of my hits not registering did my connection realise the reason he wasn't moving was he was bowing.
It would've been good to have a nice duel rather than the Dickstab shit I've had before, shame the circumstances led to that misunderstanding.
Hey
hey Artorias
hey you know that sliding stab you do?
Well what if
just listen
what if you do that move and then instead of attacking with a short range attack afterwards since I'm right next to you
and here's the good part
what if you instead do ANOTHER sliding stab. I'll be expecting a short range swing so I will dodge backwards and you'll kill me in one hit IT'LL BE GREAT

Loved the video strictly because of the JSR music.
Hand parried a guy and one-shotted him with the Hornet Ring + Power Within
Oh god I love this :v:

jesus christ how horrifying
brb gravelording
I invaded a Gravelord once, not through his sign. I just happened to invade a Gravelord with a Redeye.
It was pretty funny when I walloped him.
After watching afro's last 2 videos I want to make a twink and gravelord the Burg.
[editline]3rd October 2012[/editline]
Oh my god imagine if those videos become popular enough to bring about a resurgence of gravelording and it actually becomes a real covenant :v:

I would gladly go Gravelord if I knew what SL and where to go and stuff, I always seem to stop at the worse SL somehow and I either never get summoned or never invade anyone.
Literally the only character I've had any action with was my SL10 Darkwraith but that's a nobrainer and I'm not really strong, I get screwed by everything because I only fight high levels.
I just bought this.
Godammit, I cannot for the life of me figure out parrying. It seems to only work when it feels like it.
Different weapons/shields have different parrying windows so you have to get used to that.
Also, from what I remember, to parry properly you have to parry when the weapon is literally about to hit you. I suggest practicing with your hand or a buckler/target shield or parrying dagger since they have the biggest parrying window.

Also, been trying to co-op in Anor Londo at SL50 for god damned forever and I'm still getting no summon.

This is probably just a really shit time at which to be playing to begin with to want any sort of activity.

And this is why you don't forget to kill the channeler in the Depths... did not know that the gaping dragon could be buffed.

I guess that's why that fight was so easy when I did it

OHHH. You mean the channeler behind the fog-door with rats? I always wondered why it was like that. I've killed him every time, so I've never seen that either.
