Nonsense. It's a savage battle for your life. Pleasantry if for the weak.
I bow before every fight, of course, and I do generally let them finish and heal up. But I am by no means required to, and them invading suddenly is part of the challenge.
Besides, you have a decently long warning. If you see someone invading or see the message...don't fight anyone. Check for fog doors. Eventually you can just kind of...feel someone invading. Either there's a sound that's very faint, or I'm somehow in tune with my xbox, but I can guess like 80% of the time if someone's invading me and the exact time they show up.
Exactly 8 hours and 42 minutes in and I'm at Anor Londo again. Finally got my Man Serpent Greatsword from Sen's Fortress after a bit of farming and threw it +9. I love the look of the weapon; so brutal. Now I just need to finding armor that matches with the sword.
Make it +15 and use SLB or DMB on it. WRECKED.
Smough's armor, obviously. Lord Gwyn's actually matches it better, but you need Gwyn's soul so I doubt you'll get it. Not this playthrough, anyway.

If you're a Darkwraith or a Darkmoon, Monster Magnet said it best:

[sp]Not really relevant beyond the title.[/sp]
That is true. Also, your Black Sep Crystal lights up when someone's connecting to your world.
I'm putting together a list of all my armor for certain builds. Some of it does look cool. Tarkus Chest, Tarkus Gloves, Gold-Hemmed Hat, Gold-Hemmed Skirt, Gravelord Greatsword is my personal favorite.
I really want to make a full Gwyn PvP build. I'm thinking iether a +15 Claymore that I use fire resin on, or a +15 Greatsword. Hm.

Good suggestion. I do need to pick up a miracle or two eventually and hopefully I can get it. I already beat the game already; I'm just doing a new playthrough because my last character was very ill-planned out.

The "best" miracles (depending on the level of douche you want to be) are hard to get. WotG has like a weird method to get it that's a total pain in the ass, and TWoP is also annoying to find, but totally worth it because of how much of a dickhole you become.
The other day I heard some dad talking to his kid about Humanity.
The kid was only six or seven years old, but he seemed fascinated.
Soo I was thinking about a Shinobi build
Chaos Blade be dammed, I want this to happen, where would I start dropping points at, humanity is not an issue.
Use a washing pole instead, less shitty. Enchant it however you want and spec accordingly.

Whenever someone invades me, I usually just stand in a heroic pose on an open area until they spot me. Then I start running towards them like a mad cunt. Usually this confuses them and they don't really know how to react. I guess most just stand still or walk slowly towards them with their shield out. :v:

If you REALLY want to mess with them, don't move until they get close, and slowly just back away. 90% of the time they'll try to circle you to backstab you, and then you can just pivot backstab them. It's a guaranteed hit on someone strafing you. god I got so much hatemail for that. I love xbox.
It seems hard to find anybody to prey on in Blades of the Darkmoon. Perhaps it's just my level (52) but it's difficult finding someone to fight. I'll probably just be a Darkwraith at this point, haha.

But seeing 'The guilty pay the price' is pretty satisfying.
Darkmoons invade down, Darkwraiths invade up. You can't invade people above your level, that's why you don't get much. Plus a lot of people don't bother indicting until Kiln PvP.
Your best bet is to activate your eye in Anor Londo, on the staircase right before Smornstein. Still might not work, but that's been my go-to location in Anor Londo. Invasions EVERYWHERE.
Granted, that's as a Darkmoon, but the same strategy applies.
Of course, you could always equip the ring...but god help you if you do.
I really really hope that they make another Demons/Dark Souls and remove the level restrictions and come up with some sort of level scaling system.
The game would feel much more populated if we weren't restricted to certain levels of being able to play with others.
I loooved Dark Souls but I got stuck on Ornstein and Smough and got incredibly frustrated to the point where I wasn't even enjoying the game, and that's a bit of a problem, since I play games for fun. I've been meaning to give it another go eventually, though.
Try to summon some phantoms. It will help out greatly.

Just camp by the second bonfire where Solaire is sitting at first in human form, summon signs should pop up left and right
Try to summon some phantoms. It will help out greatly.
I tried before and it never worked out. I tried to avoid fighting the giant...knight things, because I didn't want to risk getting injured and losing an estus, so I would rush to get Solaire and he'd lose more than half his health just fighting those things, before we even got to the boss. I tried recruiting real people too, but every time I did they wound up dying immediately, so I was pretty much on my own.
Well kill those giants, there are usually some summoning signs. Keep trying man, or you could try to farm some souls and grind some other areas. For instance the world of Ariamis.
Just sitting at the depths bonfire with my summon sign out
it's so lonely down here
I like how by the end of the game and all the late game areas have nearly no messages or signs. Makes you feel so lonely in that world.
Shows how many people have given up hope, we're the elite few!
Honestly, what the heck?
At my first two playthrough I only got invaded a few times, not really that much. But now on my new playthrough as a pyromancer as soon as I am human again, my ass gets invaded, all the time. And mostly when I try to reach a boss without trying to loose much Estus or Miracles.
I wonder how many times you can do NG.
I am looking forward to NG ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
How does being summoned work? Does your level matter in relation to the person summoning you?
How does being summoned work? Does your level matter in relation to the person summoning you?
I think its within 10 levels of you (up and down)

Just wait until you get to Bed of Chaos, that bed isn't the least bit comfortable.

I hate Lost Izalith. So much.
If you know where the bonfire is, you can just run to it and ignore the giant dragon butts. Just don't do it wrong.

Oh god, that STOMPING ATTACK.
